    Project Details: Full basement completion, Sunroom and misc (recess lights/fans in 1st & 2nd floor). Total project cost: $72500. Below is the timeline of our transactions with Home Run Construction LLC (Ray): - Signed a contract on 6/12/2022 and paid 1st deposit of $5000 for design and permits. Receipt provided on 06/23/2022 after following up everyday. - Provided basement design on 06/23/2022. - Home Run Construction LLC said application for basement permit was submitted on 06/24/2022. No proof of submission was provided to us. No updates on this till date. - Went to floor & decor with Ray to select flooring/tiles for the basement and got samples. - Paid next deposit of $15000 on 06/29/2022. No receipt provided. - Promised to complete electrical work by July 4th 2022. which was started on 06/28/2022 and still incomplete. The 1st subcontractor was inexperienced and took about 2 weeks to complete something that could be done in 2 days. - Last time we met Ray was on July 15th 2022. No response since then to our calls, texts or emails. - Ray was supposed to start framing our basement starting July 15th. - No materials were ordered. - Have not received the design for the porch. This entire experience has not been smooth and has caused a lot of stress to our family. We have paid a total of $20000 for which they have only done some electrical work that is incomplete. For the electrical work they cut holes in our new home walls which is not patched. Desired resolution: - We do not wish to work with Ray going forward and would like our money back. - Ray should finish what he started (re-check electrical work and patch damaged walls).

    We contracted on May 26, 2022 with Ray H**** of Homerun Construction, Manassas, VA, and paid a 50% deposit of $1,500 to install attic insulation in an unfinished storage room. Construction was scheduled to begin June 6, with all work completed within 30 days. We called to reschedule and never heard from Ray again. We have reached out through every channel, including his ******** page and now-gone internet site.
