This happened on the 7th of July, 2023 around 5:00 pm. I went to revive a spa mani pedi at this establishment, under the impression that it would be $45, as stated on the website. When I entered the store I was seated at a station in the back as a woman began on my pedicure. She could not find the color that I wanted so she picked one out herself, without asking me. I decided to ignore it and then asked for the same color that she had picked to be used on my hands, since she was struggling to find any color that I picked out. She did not comply and used another color on my hands. As the service continued she used the same instruments on my hands that she used on my feet, including the same towels, which is incredibly unsanitary. In addition she cut four of my fingers with a nail file deep enough that they bled. When I went to pay I began to recognize that I did not receive everything that was included in the spa mani pedi package, but was willing to pay the $45 to leave the salon quickly. Without stating the final price to me I was charged $95 (with no tax at all) for a spa mani pedi! According to the website, I was only supposed to pay $45 while $95 was the price of their most expensive package, which I certainly did not receive. Before I could say anything I was ushered into a back room and forced to use a strange ATM that “denied” my card twice. I checked my account and it had more than enough to provide a tip. Confused I told the lady that I could not give her a tip because the machine kept saying error. I was then forced into a back alley and then taken to another random ATM where the lady made me withdraw a tip for her. I spent $110 including the tip on a horrible experience. I am not even certain $110 is the final price because I feel that the ATM may have not been truly faulty. I know that the price charged was incorrect because my friend’s service was exactly according to the website. I have contacted the establishment and no refund has been granted.
