Had such a bad experience several months ago and still no light at the end of the tunnel.

The purchase and set up of our home went well for the most part. After the set up was complete, getting a straight answer and follow through has been a struggle, which continues presently. During planning of the home Troy was a Breeze to work with a long with several others. A red flag was thrown when a couple of employees seemed to be under the influence. One even said how he was on a Suboxone program. The grading, footers and installation went well. I did hold up things as I chose to install water, septic, and Electric myself. The sub-contractors for the porches, underpinning, and HVAC unit was professional and accommodating. After we moved in. We noted several things that was unfinished and the conditions has been compromised, such as; Caulking in the master bathroom, by the threshold of the front door, cracks and gaps in the ceiling, doors not closing properly, and indications of the modular home being out of level. It took several weeks for someone to come out for repairs and he was in prepared for the list that had been emailed and discussed with their office several times. A couple of months has passed and the next repair man arrived on Dec. 26th, previously scheduled for Dec. 16th which they said the gentleman was sick. The guy was obviously high and within a short conversation with my wife which is a federal corrections officer, stated he had a friend in the facility she worked at and asked a favor of passing on an envelope, which he couldn't do. The reason he proclaimed was he was a felon and they would not allow him any contact. From there we made him leave. My wife had to file an internal investigation within her work place. The worst part is once we notified Horizon, a manager began to defend him as if we are the aggressors. We simply want to have the home we paid for in the condition we paid for. This is on going and becoming frustrating. If matter cannot be resolved by spring we will be forced to seek other options.
