Where to begin? This company is hands down the best company from the start. Thier financing for a heat pump took a total of 20 seconds. ************************** knows his stuff and then came over on a holiday to go over the best options. These are not your typical sales people because he talked me out of adding a supplemental mini split which I wanted but was not needed and I'm glad to have saved the 5 grand. Some jobs are just headaches and apparently and unfortunately that was us. We had obstacles from the start. Mistakes were made but those mistakes were corrected immediately at no cost to me and very timely may I add. Things happened out of thier control and our control and they again came out and fixed it. Not a dime to me and every step of the way their was amazing communication, respect, and great workmanship. The leadership and ownership of this company is really for the everyday people. You pay for a quality product and they will ASSURE you get it at expense to them. They have installed 3 different heatpumps in my house. You see my house was built in the 40s so their were obstacles, sizing differences due to additions and weather that all played into failures. But that's where **************** stepped in and took complete control. Let me tell you about this young man. He came out on Christmas eve and offered to come out Christmas day to assure our holiday wasn't ruined. "Don't call **************** anymore I want him to enjoy his holiday ill take it from here" is what *************** said and that speaks volume from a supervisor. If it could go wrong it did. And I trust no other company to handle it the way Southern Goodman did. Family members told me at the supper table last night that they are going to call Southern Goodman next time solely with how they handled this Murphys law install. Now that everything is corrected we couldn't be more happy with the heat pump. It heats fast efficient slow warm air quiet and clean. 10 out of 10 stars isn't even enough for this company.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I was having a problem with my AC freezing up and the first technician that came out spent about two hours and from his "extensive diagnostics" he said that I had some debris in my line that he cleared and replaced some freon. Within a couple days time, or less, the same issue persisted. Southern Goodman sent out a different technician who stated that my drain line was clogged and that my capacitor was bad. After I agreed to the repairs he then proceeded to try to convince me that there was a possible freon leak and that this diagnostic would be an extra $400 and that it could be so extensive that it could have damaged the compressor and condenser that I may need to replace my unit. He only reported these findings after completing the original stated work. How did he not see this originally? He then offered to have a "Comfort Specialist" come out and give an estimate on system replacement. He also continued to try to upsale me with a monthly service of $22/month. I refused to believe that my unit went from barely able to find any issues to needing a new unit. I paid for the repairs that were already completed and obtained a second opinion. The technician from the new company stated that it was my blower motor and no way it was my capacitor. He fixed my blower motor and I have had no other issues since going on 3 weeks now. Southern Goodman was seeing an opportunity to take advantage of consumer. How could they send out two technicians who could not or did not find the correct issue. After discussing this with one of the managers at the office he offered to make concessions on the decision of a tentative purchase of a new unit after discussing unit needs with the "Comfort Specialist". I cancelled my appointment and did not meet with the "comfort Specialist" because at this point all trust had been jeopardized. So after a substantial cost of unnecessary repairs by Southern Goodman they fixed nothing.
