    In 2023, I paid Weed Man in ************, ** to provide several lawn fertilization and weed control services to my yard. ***** services were fine. Early in 2004, they resumed service without first asking. In February 2024, Weed Man provided one application of fertilizer for which I reluctantly paid. I requested a contract by text message. No contract arrived. Then Weed Man applied a pre-emergent in March. I did not pay for this because I did not want to resume any service and specifically did not want pre-emergent chemicals on my lawn. Weed Man insists on sending invoices for $77 for this ************** now $83.87 which includes a late payment fee. I refuse to pay for a service that I did not order. Weed Man was fortunate to receive payment for the ***************** There is no contract of which I am aware nor have been made aware by Weed Man. I have written them to tell them that I did not order the ************* and will not pay the invoice. I have received at least three additional invoices, the most recent threating the use of collection agency (for $84???). Weed Man has lost my business permanently and told them to not enter my property. The irony (and idiocy) is Weed Man has clearly spent more than $84 of their administrative time to try to collect money for something I did not order, not to mention wasting my valuable time. Assuming a customer wants a service and then rendering it without asking, then billing them for it is not "Better Business." I am requesting that the Weed Man manager in at their ************, ** location (or corporate office) cancel the $83.87 charges and apologize. This business method is a presumptive, manipulative, and rude way of treating someone who doesn't want a service.

    Hello *****, After reviewing your account, It looks as though when you signed up you did open and review the confirmation email regarding the facts of our program and that we are a continuous service, We will treat the lawn year after year until you cancel. We do not have contracts for our services. Also, we corresponded with you via email and text messages. Once i spoke with you via phone we cancelled your services immediately upon your request. We are asking you to pay for the services completed before the cancel date of 4/10/2024. The late fees are due to the payment being past due for an extended period. If you would like to discuss this further please give the office a call and ask to speak with the supervisor whom canceled your account. Thank you!

    I'm beyond disappointed with using Weed Man. The first application was not done properly. They did come back out but again but I found the chemicals on the sidewalk. For the first service I was charged $134 which included the Soil Test $40, Premium Fertilizer $47 and Broadleaf Weed Control $47. I prepaid $ 374.40 for the season. I decided to cancel service and requested refund on 3/29/24 but I was disappointed that correct information was not provided at the very beginning.. I called back on 4/1/22. It was only after my second call that I receive an email on 4/2/22 that they would refund me $253.80. They refuse to prove any transaction number to confirm when I was going to get a refund. I asked to speak with someone but you get placed on hold. I get promises of a call back but it's been a week and I never get a call back. I've been waiting for a week for a call back. The customer service seems to say all the right words but the actions are negative. I still haven't received my refund. Only after I called them back did they actually tell me what is actually needed for my lawn. They had no clue about my lawn because I had to send them pictures after they already had come out twice. Why wasn't I told all the correct information before they went ahead and apply the Premium Fertilizer and Broadweed Weed Control. They should have first recommend the Lawn Aeration Service of which they wanted to charge me an additional amount over $200 for my little townhome front lawn. I'm happy that I found another company who actually cares and made the correct recommendation before doing any of the actual work. Why can Weed Man just be honest and upfront at the very beginning? It's not even about the money but all the time wasted. Please stay away from using Weed Man and don't repay.

I want to verify that we only charged for the service that we rendered and that our lawn care program is a process it can take 3,5,8 years to achieve the golf course lawn we all want. We provided the service for your property for the two weeks you were on the program. We also processed your refund immediately and emailed you all correspondence required at that time.
