BBB has received information claiming Premium Line Logistics offers work-at-home positions starting at $2,000 per month working 3-4 hours per day. Employees must accept and ship packages outside of the United States. The website domain for premiumlinelogistics.com shows the address of 114 N 6th Street Richmond Virginia 20036 which is not a recognized address with the US Postal Service. Premium Line Logistics agreement states the business address of 114 N 6th St Richmond, Virginia with zip code 23219; however, that address is not recognized as an address with the US Postal Service either. BBB sent mail to the address using zip code 23219 and received returned mail. BBB followed up with our request for more information by emailing traceyharris@premiumlinelogistics.com and left a message and requested a call back.
BBB suggests using extreme caution. BBBs experience has been that this work-at-home opportunity is considered "re-shipping fraud" where deceptive businesses steal credit card numbers from individuals, purchase merchandise online, ship the merchandise to the victim and then have the victim ship the merchandise to the deceptive business. Victims taking part in these actions can then be considered an accomplice to grand theft larceny.
BBB strongly warns potential hires to not take part in such offers. While ads claim high earnings and short hours with little or no experience, Better Business Bureau files indicate no evidence of anyone making the promised money. Rarely, if ever, are these ads an offer of legitimate employment.
