I would have put zero instead of 1 star if it were a option. May be family owned but not by the same generation I have used in the past. My family, my spouse's family and myself have used hadeed ****** rug /carpet cleaning before. I've never had any reason to expect anything less than excellent results. Recently though I sent in 3 rugs. 2 were hand loomed-thick pile oriental rugs. These rugs can last a lifetime plus when not mishandled. After cleaning, one oriental rug had dirty smudges on the end . (Rolled up) The other was worse. The part that connects the fringe to the rug had some kind of black smudge right there with the tear. There are 3 torn areas on my rug. Areas torn after they left my house. The pre photos show no damage. The initial evaluation form/receipt states no damage. When I tried to talk to them about this they finaly had a man inform me (after I asked again) that no the damage was not in the pre photos. When I mentioned the tear with the black smudge and that it may have happened on the truck....I was told that the fine print protected them from this sort of thing and that they could repair it but there was a charge. ( Wow! The prices they charge to do repairs.! ) my rope rug....oh that looked like it was worn and flattened out afterwards. Disappointment doesn't begin to describe how I feel or what I've lost. This is what is referred to as greedy , bad business. It has nothing to do with the fine print. This has to do with taking responsibility for damage caused by the business. Period. I feel that I wasted my money. I could have purchased a fairly descent rug for the money spent to have those cleaned......but what I paid to clean 3 large rugs will not be enough to buy even one like the one torn.

Truly a very disappointing experience. My son spilled a red beverage on our carpet and I immediately called the company and they picked the carpet up that afternoon. The representative I spoke with made me believe they could get the stain out so I agreed to the $330 cleaning fee. I tried several times to get updates from the company but they only let you speak to their staff in their headquarters who were not well informed on the state of the stain. After 2 weeks I got a call saying the stain did not come out in the initial process (during which they don't use chemicals?!?) but if I want to pay another $380 they could try another process. Over $700 to clean a rug, with no guarantee that even then it would come out is absurd. So I'm getting a run back in basically the same condition it left my house but am out $330. What a terrible experience. I would never ever recommend this company.

Hello Ms. Y***, each rug that Hadeed cleans is individually hand washed with a mild soap and hundreds of gallons of water and distributed with soft, vegetable bristle brushes. Anything that can come out of the rug fibers, will come out with the process. The damage caused by the spilled juice at your home has permanently stained the rug. Depending on the type of liquid, number of additives, etc. the stain might require some additional steps to extract the stain. This is done by hand on the stained area and requires multiple treatments to achieve the desired results of stain elimination. Unfortunately, we do not have a crystal ball to know if the stain will come out in advance and there are no magic wands to make it disappear. It is our goal to provide our customer the best possible options to achieve the desired results. If the options do not make financial sense to you, we understand that and respect your decision. Your rug is professionally handwashed and available to be returned to you.
