This company is absolutely horrible. My loan was paid in full through a refinance. Customer service insists they sent out a refund from my escrow on 12-31. As of 1-11-25 I still have not received the check. What is interesting however is that today on 1-11-202 I received a letter regarding the summary of the escrow account for the past year dated 1-2-2025. Why would that letter be received before the check? They insist they cannot control the mail. I have received several checks in the mail from many companies over the years and have NEVER had this sort of time lapse. This is NOT the postal service. This is completely an issue with this company and no one else. I am getting the runaround on this issue and likely will never see the check.Review from Sandra T

Loan care is the worst, they lie and no one knows how to do their job. They delay delay and delay. We have been trying to work with them for the pass two year's to get this Mortgage straighten out due to doing a forbearance during covid. This company has absolutely no clue what they are doing. My husband is a retired veteran 100% disability due to military medical issue's. He has been working for ***** *********** for 17 year's this year it will be 18 Year's. And this company lied to the VA representative telling them the reason we can't get the VA vsap program cause my husband doesn't have a stable income. When in fact he has two incomes,all they do is lie left and right. At start of the program the loan care representatives ask us, are you able to afford your mortgage and do you have a stable in come do you still live in your home. They harass you left and right by sending out a person to your house taking pictures and to see if you still live in the home. They take pictures of your cars everything. We told them yes, but yet they lied to the VA representative that we didn't have a stable income. All they want to do is take your home and sell it for profits. They don't want to help you at all, they are crooks don't know how they are still in business with the shady practices they do against their customers! It has been a horrible experience with loan care, if I could give them zero star's I would. Than they claim, we are assigning someone to help you, it's all BS cause they don't do crap other than lie!! At this point we are going to retain an attorney, cause this company is shady as hell. I have documented all phone calls by time and date I have all the names and representatives ID number cause you have to protect yourself from shady companies like these. Everything is going to be forwarded to our attorney at this point, we are very frustrated and stressed out with this shady company. It's now going to be in our attorney hands on ******** with these liar's!!Review from Doug U

They continue to pull money out of my account after being told to take me off autopay taking multiple payments out of my account after i have paid telling me that I haven't when I have confirmation stating I have plus letter from them stating i was ahead on payments never been late or missed one but still giving me fees for missed paymentsReview from Bonnie E

Loan Care must be run by mobsters!!! They litterly add fees to or mortgage they steal from the escrow after poking we had insurance they the pnortgage payment since they took over the loan has increased so much I can’t manage it I have given them over $**** dollars in the last few months and they said we are still behind they even had someone looking to see if we abandoned the property how can they still be in business they should be in a federal prison for stealing and unfair practices and they are Shady at best. Is there anything we do so they get investigated and make them pay back all they stole!!!! Can someone please investigate them please!!!!Review from Rasool C

WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY! Our story is similar to many of the other customers. We have issues since they started servicing our loan they have poor customer service - They keep denying that we have sent them proof of flood insurance coverage, after several calls they acknowledge the receipt of Proof of Insurance but the told us the insurance is not acceptable due to insufficient coverage. When we brought to their attention that coverage amount is on the 3rd page of the policy and then after reviewing the representative said yes she sees that now and assured us that our account will be updated within 48 hrs. but yet again nothing was done. We have never been late in making payments - they went ahead and bought additional insurance for our property and have been applying part our mortgage payments towards escrow/insurance and by doing so we are showing delinquent and its messed up our credit and their promises of fixing the error is simply a lie because they don't fix anything this way they can keep charging late charges etc.... we have emailed them the proof of insurance several times and mailed them hard copy as well....spoken to Cynthia, Mark, Anne, to name the few...they all said that it will be updated in 48 to 72 hrs. but nothing...no results!!! THE WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH..... I was once again promised today by Billie in the insurance department today after being on the phone for 45 mins., I was disconnected and never received a call back.....Review from Kelly O

I recently had a frustrating experience with Loancare that I feel compelled to share. After paying $***** towards my account in July , I expected a straightforward process. However, not only did they refuse to credit my account, but they also have not returned my money. Customer service has been unhelpful, with long wait times and vague responses. I’ve followed up multiple times, but my concerns remain unresolved. It’s incredibly disappointing to deal with a company that doesn’t prioritize customer satisfaction or accountability. I cannot recommend Loancare based on my experience. Proceed with caution if you decide to engage with them.Review from Kera K

I had gone into a forbearance plan and on my home page it had stated that August and September were paid (in green on. my homepage). To my surprise when I pulled up my September statement I had seen that I had owed the full balance . When I inquired why my page would state that the previous two months were paid no on could answer the question and all that they could state was "that's so strange I don't know why it would say that." I hope they can recognize how that could be deceiving. This was their error and the only solution was to take out a lien on my home.Review from PEYTON W

ZERO STARS, NEGATIVE STARS... My loan was sold to this company, and since then it has been the worst experience of our life. We have lived in this house 3 years, and our mortgage was sold about 6 months ago and it has been the worst 6 months of our life. Since changing to them, our mortgage has went up $*** they keep raising our escrow more and more every few months. We changed insurances, and PAID back the other insurance money into our escrow and they are still counting it against us because it went in to the negative even though we told them well ahead of time that we were switching and they still cut the check TWO months early to the company we told them we were cancelling.... We can no longer afford our house payment because they are wanting to take an extra ***** from us for our escrow for the year than what gets taken out....
