    First off I wish I would have looked at these reviews on the BBB before I started this purchase with powerbilt buildings. I ordered a 20x30x10 building with a lean 2. My sales person was great at first, but after he received my deposit that changed. I received an email on sept 9 2022 that my order was received and it would take 4-8 weeks for delivery. I have sent my site photo in to ******** ******** and powerbilt buildings and all I am being told is it's in a truck waiting for a date and it could be any day. The information this company puts out is very misleading and confusing, I'm a disabled veteran and feel like I've been taken advantage of. All I want is my deposit back and I'll find someone local to build my building.

    I ordered a double carport from Powerbilt Steel Building and paid my deposit on 9/21/2021. I was told the structure would be erected in about 120 days with a disclaimer that they are not responsible for delays due to COVID. It was understandable that there might be a slight delay, however it is now April 16, 2022 and no carport (almost 7 months). I contacted the sales rep Lori Malone and the manager Christian several times and both gave the excuse of short staffing and at one point suggesting that I cancel this order and they would try another contractor which would cost over ******** more. When I rejected that offer, I miraculously got a call from someone in my state of ******* claiming to be person to obtain the permit for the carport (Justin). Justin apologized for this project taking so long and that someone would call me in a day or so and schedule the installation within a week. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard a word. It is also suspicious that neither Lori, Christian or Justin could give me the name or number of the company that would be installing the carport. I have requested my refund. Based on the other reviews, I believe this company is not legitimate and I would urge consumers to spend their money elsewhere. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND A WASTE OF MY VALUABLE TIME. Now I have to start this process over with another company!...

    Powerbilt Steel aplogizes for the delay in the delivery of this building. It is true, we have faced many, many delivery delays due to the ongoing effects of COVID. We did offer the ************ an option to use a different vendor that could deliver quicker. Since their price was a little higher the ********** declined to change manufactures. Our notes indicate we refunded this customers deposit in full on April 13th; 3 days prior to this complaint.The notes we have on file for this customer are as follows:

    I got another call from mrs. Faye Gilchrist asking for an update, I told about the option of going with another manufacturer since CCI is not providing any lead times for these orders.. se said that she will have her husband to give us a call back and let him to decide

I explained the current situation going on with ***** order is less than ** so no lead time for this orders, this was placed on sep 21st.. I spoke with cust and she is aware of the T&C and if still no update she will be cancelling

    Cust called for an update. I advised about the *** regarding refunds, he agreed to hold until Jan 21st and if still no date, he will cancel.. I told cust that we'll need to wait after Jan 3rd when CCI is back open from the holidays
