To whom it may concern, My name is ***** ****** and I am writing to you to express my deepest request for support with a issue that I have had going back-and-forth for sometime now that has yet to be resolved . During 2016 I was incarcerated and when I was released in 2018 I realize that there was something on my credit report that I tried to dispute multiple times. Every time I have tried to dispute the debt , ******** updates or changes the consumer name, not providing any updated contact information, phone number or otherwise. ********** * ******* have already erased this debt from my credit report completely . The last time I tried to dispute it with the prior third party company , I was told me that there no debt in my name , no information or recollection for them to confirm that I owe the debt. At that time I thought that this was going to be resolved as it is some type of fraud or mistake. Yet now we are here in 2022 almost 7 years later , with the same outstanding debt on my credit. Several months ago when I contacted the third-party debt collector as I mentioned before they explained that I did not have an account, now look at my credit again and they have changed/updated the name of the company WITHOUT AN updated balance , there's no phone number , there's no company address and there's no starting debt amount. Yet ******** continues to keep us on my credit report. This is affecting my ability to purchase a home, apply for car, insurance find suitable housing, and or employment. Now they have no phone number or identifiable information for me to dispute this information with whatever company this is supposedly belonging to each third-party that has picking up the stat has told me that there is no information . Yet ******** keeps this on my credit for affecting my life overall . Attached is the original documents that ******** listed and then updated showing inconsistencies with account name , account number ,balance start/ending & contact information.

Hello BBB, Deposit: date of transaction July 16th 2022 reference XXXXXXX Visa ******** Folio XXXXX $100.00 March 8th 2022; 16 July, 2022-06 August 2022 amount paid approx. $6600.00 (we also booked many times prior at this same resort in previous year) We returneded on vacation on 06 August 2022 from staying at the Ocean Sands Resorts in VA Beach, Va for 3 weeks-this year (and also booked other years prior) this year we spend a total of $6600.00 for that amount of time. Upon arrival we gave the desk clerk a deposit of $100.00-we were informed that we will receive the deposit within 7-10 days-we still haven't received the deposit and we have called several times and they inform us that it will take longer. We didn't want to pursue this complaint but we felt that we needed support because it has been 2 weeks and the 7-10 day period has passed-and we feel like we are getting the run around when we call. Thank You BBB

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/24) */ Deposits are processed as a "hold" on credit cards and therefore, no charge is posted, thus no refund is processed. If a debit card is used (vs a credit card), the hold does reflect as a charge and is automatically reversed upon check out. Each individual bank has policy on length of time it takes for the charge to be reversed/refunded. This timeline is out of the company's control. Please review credit statement or account to confirm. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/08/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Bank notification that charges were dropped- Thank You BBB
