    I have a serious water drainage problem in the rear corner of my home that I suspected may cause an issue with my foundation. I hired 58 Foundations to offer me a solution to this drainage issue however it was never resolved by the work that was completed and in fact it is now worse than it was before. The company installed a very costly sump pump in my basement and a French drain and yet the drain that was installed is not working as intended and water continues to pool in the same area rather than draining away from the home. This is due to the fact that there is insufficient space and incline between the entry point of the drain and where the drain terminates, and since excess water cannot drain away it continues to be a problem, potentially causing damage to my foundation. On top of this egregious error on their part, the workmen damaged my irrigation system in the process of installing the drain so I am now unable to use it. Not only will I be required to hire another company to fix the problem they never resolved but I also have to pay for my irrigation system to be repaired I have called and written to the company on numerous occasions asking that they address this issue, providing a detailed description of the problem as well as photographs documenting how the drain is not working. To date I have yet to receive a response and no action has taken place. In fact, the only correspondence I received from the company was an email asking me to leave them a 5 star review which I found utterly reprehensible. I want the public to be aware of the poor workmanship and complete lack of customer service they can expect from this company so that hopefully they can avoid a similar experience.

    Here is our response to ************** complaint:

    I have spoken twice now with ************** since receiving his concern below and are working toward a solution. We have credited a refund for the damage amount that ************** identified to his irrigation system. We are coordinating with a landscaper he hired to create better drainage in his yard and will bury our drainage pipe. This should solve ************** concerns with the water pooling in his yard. I appreciate his time in working with me to help solve his problem. Our commitment is for all of our customers to have a fantastic experience with our company and I apologize to ************** for the poor communication he had with us.  Thanks, A.G
