I purchased a 2018 Harley Fatboy from Black Bear on July 10th. That same day before leaving the dealership I ordered 12” handlebars to be installed by the dealership. ***** was my salesman and **** was the finance manager. **** told me I would receive 10% off of the bars and installation. The bars came in and I dropped my Fatboy off on Tuesday for installation. I just picked it up and was told only 10% off the parts although **** told me labor was 10% also. During the negotiation he said he couldn’t change the bars in the sale but he would give me 10% off of parts and labor. **** said he would sale me the bike for the offered price but he said he would not give me the $500 promotion. I am very happy with my bike but I am not happy he did not honor either of these, the 10% on labor or the $500 merchandise. **** is trying to say that the discount on the installation of the bars was not part of the purchase deal. My wife was standing there listening during all of this and heard it. The discount on the bars and the installation of the bars was the reason I agreed to purchase it.

We did have a promotion last month but he elected to purchase the motorcycle at a large discount instead of the promotion.  There was nothing stated regarding a discount on the labor, it was not agreed on or implied.  He did get the handle bars at a discount.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. That was the deal the 10% parts and labor and once we completed the deal he went over with the paperwork and I went directly over the parts and they knew about the 10% and so did service we were all back there and then as the parts guy 10% and they said yes but I never seen the paperwork again I trusted my salesman which was a mistake and when we went back to pick the bike up that's when he decided to let me know it was just on parts and change what we had agreed upon
