The first order was placed on March 7, 2022 for a Custom Farmhouse Table 66"x40" with matching bench on invoice **** for $999.99. A second invoice number ****, also dated March 7, 2022 was for $400.00 for a Maple upgrade. Both invoices were paid on March 7, 2022. Delivery for table was for July 2022. After several attempts to contact ********************* through phone calls and email, he finally responded in October and stated he would have our table ready for delivery the first weekend of December. Another invoice was given for 100% maple upgrade to legs (****") and apron. Invoice number ******* for $211.99 was paid on November 19,2022. As of March 13, 2023, we still have not received the table. I have tried emailing and calling ********************* at Old Camp Woodworking, LLC. His phone has been disconnected and he will not respond to emails.

On Jan 19th of 2022 we contacted the sole proprietor of Old Camp Woodworking ***********************, ********************************************************** in order to commission him to first build us a queen size bed frame (Poplar wood) with a custom head & foot board and slide out drawers on each side. After in-length discussions about dimensions and cost, we agreed to pay $899, with a completion date of April 11th, 2022. Soon after getting the bed project scheduled, we inquired and agreed that ***** would also build us six bookshelves, three each of specific dimensions and two sliding barn doors. See cost break down and sequence of dates/events listed below. Once the due date for the bed frame came, we began having issues with the builder. The project was not started when we inquired about it, we were fed multiple stories and later found out were untruths. Agreed upon costs:Bed - $899.00 First 3 bookcases - $849.00 Second 3 bookcases - $849.00 Two Barndoors - $599.00 Total funds given - $3,196.00 Ultimately it took many months of struggling with the builder to receive what we paid for and the products were all of poor quality. The current situation is we have not received the Barndoors, there are 99 photos of all the visible damage and poor workmanship of the bed frame and shelves. Also, since September we have been in contact with another person and found out that there are others who have had the same experiences with ***********************.

I ordered an outdoor sectional from Old Camp Woodworking/********************* in June and never received my item. I paid the invoice of $749.99 via Square. I asked for a refund in mid-August, which they confirmed would be processed on August 12th. I never received the refund. I have since been promised a refund multiple times. They claim that the money is "tied up in Square" and so they cannot process the refund. I have been refunded a total of $350 via two Venmo payments, but that's it. They do not answer the phone or return voicemails, rarely return emails, and have blocked me on ********* I have found numerous other customers (all local to *******/Bristol) who are in the same position. They seem to have changed their name on ******** to "Daemon". They have also added a lot of text on their website about refunds and cancellations, which wasn't there when I ordered. I also have written confirmation of them confirming I would be refunded multiple times.

I still have not received the full amount I am owed. I was promised a refund in mid-August 2022; **** has refunded part of it in installments, but I am still waiting on $200. I never agreed to this installment-based refund plan, and it is frustrating that ****/Old Camp think this is acceptable when they did not offer a way of paying in installments. Moreover, I have had to send numerous emails to get each of these installments, and *still* have not had any of my phone calls or voicemails responded to. I shouldn't have to be sending upwards of 20 emails to get the refund I was promised. Frankly, I am exhausted by the whole thing. It has taken up hours and hours of my time and it has put me off using small businesses in case they behave in the same way.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

I sent money ($2048) to old camp woodworking (owner is ***********************) (*************************************************** ) on 1.26.2022 via Venmo for them to build me a product. It has been almost a year and Ive been trying to work directly with that vendor to get the product built, but they are not communicating. Every time I request an update, theres always an excuse to why the murphys bed has not been built. I requested a refund from them, but was told they already purchased the wood needed to build my product, even though they never finalized a drawing or provided any details. I have requested a refund but the vendor has not responded
