I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I was forced to trade the car in and roll over the $8,000 I still owed on the car. Which put me further in debt. I haven't heard from the company or **** himself since I was forced to go and pick my car up from his shop because he was not doing the work it needed. I was unable to inspect the vehicle so I was forced to turn it in. The engine light came on after I drove it off the lot in ********** and he dragged his feet and refused to fix it in a reasonable time.Initial Complaint

I purchased a 2012 GMC from this location a month ago. On my way home, the trucks transmission blew on me and the dealership came back to my house and picked it up on a tow truck. The transmission had to be replaced as well as a few other issues they failed to mention to me prior to my purchase. They also tried hiding big rotted holes in the cab of the truck with paint I told them I wanted my motorcycle back and they could take the vehicle back. They refused and said they would take care of the problem and have the truck back to me ASAP. Ive been playing games with them for over a month now. No answers are getting answered. They keep blowing me off every time I ask whats going on with the truck . And my first loan payment is due in two days and I still have yet to even see the truck I purchased. I could really use some help with this situation. I dont know what to do. They keep playing games with me and keep avoiding me . *** spoke to the sales manager as well and still no answers. I had to trade my motorcycle in an order to get this vehicle. I either want my motorcycle back or I want this problem taken care of. They gave me a loaner vehicle when this first went down that loaner vehicle felt unsafe, and there were major problems with the transmission as well. They took the loaner vehicle back and gave me another one. Honestly, I dont feel that their vehicles they are selling or even roadworthy.Initial Complaint

Brought my car in to be serviced through a warranty issue (transmission failure) on March 27th,2023. For the last six weeks Ive been under the assumption that my car is being worked on, the warranty hasnt approved it, the part hasnt come in. And now they are claiming I owe a balance on a down payment, that I have paid and the lien holder ( united auto credit) has record that I have paid. ************ direct refuses to give me back my car so I can take it to be serviced at **************. I have spoken with the warranty company (AUL) who has already approved the warranty replacement of my transmission, but has not gotten a response from the dealership to pay.As far as their mechanic ***** has said they havent even started on my car and have no plans to. I would like my vehicle moved from this dealership.Customer response

On 02/28/2022 I bought a 2014 *** ******* from Auto Source Direct in ********** **. Not even 6 hours after purchasing the vehicle it had overheated, the next day the cars check engine light came on flashing and lost all power and went into limp mode and I informed the dealer of the issues. On Wednesday 03/02/2022 I took the car to my mechanic and they informed me that the car needed a new motor and that the motor was junk. I immediately informed the dealership and the sales person (******* Devoid) of what was going on and he had reassured me that they were going to either refund my money or make things right. On Thursday 03/03/2022 we dropped the car off at dealership and they said they were going to put a new motor in the vehicle and make their own diagnosis on the vehicle and get ahold of the warranty company. Since then I have gotten a call on Wednesday 03/08/2022 from ******* asking me to come in on Thursday 03/10/2022 (today) and he said they had options for us to choose from and they were going to put me in a different car, I got there and he had me look at another *** ******* that was leaking oil everywhere so we decided not to take there and that there wasn't much else to choose from. I decided to tell him we'd rather just get our money back and be done with all of it, ******* told me yes I could get my money back, but once the owner ***** got there he refused our money back and gave me the option to either get a new motor put in the *** I already purchased for $6,500 or they would find me a car that suits my needs. We told them to proceed with putting an engine in the vehicle we already purchased. When I returned home I decided to search ******* Devoid on ****** and his name came up with a head line of "******* Man Sentenced in Wire Fraud Case", at this point I feel as if I am being scammed out of my money and I would just like my money back from Auto Source Direct. This has not been a very pleasant experience.Business response

Tell us why here...To whom it concerns:
Auto Source Direct, LLC service department has been trying to reach the consumer via her provided phone number with numerous failed attempts going straight to voicemail. Today, 03/15/2021, 5:26 pm owner of Auto Source Direct contacted the customer letting her know that she would like to refund ******************* in full amount for the vehicle. The vehicle engine was still waiting for final approval from the warranty company. I would like to add that the vehicle was sold AS-IS and this was made very clear to the consumer through out the process of her purchase. Unfortunately, vehicles old or new have issues that occur and no one can predict what may happen with any vehicle. We have agreed to pay the customer back her money and revert the sale.
