***** served me a summons to appear in court over a loan and credit card that I had not paid. I admit to the debt, that is not the issue. I had surgery, had been on short term disability and asked them to work with me. They refused. I was served just after 2/14/2023, and I reached out to the law firm representing NEFCU in order to work out a payment plan as a judgement would lead to my termination with my employer and they would in effect recover no money. ***** refused, I ended up paying the entire amount owed in full via a official bank check to the law firm as instructed by them. I also repaid the money they spent to serve me the summons. In total ******* was paid when i owed **** on a personal loan and ******* on a credit card. Please note i had never been late prior to this medical issue and only had a year left on the loan. ***** now refuses to correct my credit report and has reported that I still owe ******, that ******* is past due, and they wrote off ******* as unrecovered. I want this corrected to reflect that this is paid and full and satisfied. I want my credit report back dated to March when i paid.

I have heard from the business and they have stood firm in their reporting and refuse to work with me.  They claim that I have agreed to the adverse reporting on my credit bureaus and that did not pay my debet in full.  I have the summons from the lawyer outlining my debt, correspondence via email from the lawyer confirming how much I owed, a copy of the official bank check showing that I paid that sum plus fees.  I now have a letter from ***** stating that they will not work with me that their lawyer forced me to to agree to their terms to ruin my credit even though ***** them in full.  They are being vindictive and unprofessional, when inside this debt for years on time, and fell behind during COVID due to a medical procedure.

***** put an offer in my member portal to apply for a loan for a new or used car, or refinance a current auto loan, and receive 1% cash back, up to $200. I applied through the offer and the loan was fulfilled but when I asked about the cash back, a series of emails and a phone call advised that the cash back offer is only for refinancing and not for new auto loans. This is not as advertised and they did not offer to remedy the issue with me.
