These guys quoted us $150 to come out to take a look at the tire. We refused services because they were charging $700 for a tire replacement. I told them we would pay the $150 charge and to leave. Then they came back with a $585.00 bill saying that because we touched your tire it is an extra $285 of labor, and another $150 service fee. Good luck with this business.Date of transaction: 7/18/2024

We were called out to repair a tire. they were quoted $150 service call and $150 hour plus parts Minimum hour. Which would be $350 for coming out.

When we arrived and checked the tire the hole was on the side wall. Our company policy is to not repair the tires when it is on the side wall. Because it is not safe.

We offered to replace the tire with a new one we had on the truck. As we had no used tires at that time. Yes, the cost would be more. Tires are not free or cheap. They refused the new tire, and we billed them for the service call of $150 and took off the minimum hour charge. They then refused to pay that. We then spoke with them about the service call is not negotiable and was owed. They still refused to pay it. Said we didn't do anything. A Service call is for coming out to them not doing any work. It pays for our time and gas. We then told them we were going to put a lien on their truck if not paid. With having to put a lien on the truck yes, we did raise the price of the invoice. To cover our time and inconvenience of having to deal with it all.  Even after telling them that we were putting the lien on they still refused and said they weren't paying it. Then they filed this complaint. There would never have been any problems if they were paying the $150 to begin with.

I am rejecting this response because:

    1. We never declined the $150 fee.

    2. They did not pull the tire as stated for $285, this is a false invoice with incorrect labor performed.

    3. Before the call it was never discussed there would be a return fee for an additional $150.

I need to report this to BBB to inform of the inaccurate and fraudulent business practices this business employs.
