The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On March 14, 2018, the Securities Division of Washington Department of Financial Institution entered a Statement of Charges and Notice of Intent to Enter Order to Cease and Desist, to Impose Fines and to Charge Costs (“Statement of Charges”) against Julia Williams and Advisory Services Group, Inc., d/b/a ASG Accounting and Tax (collectively, “Respondents”).
The Statement of Charges alleges that the Respondents violated the anti-fraud provisions of the Securities Act of Washington when they offered and sold more than $150,000 of investments to three investors. The Securities Division intends to order the Respondents to cease and desist from violating the Securities Act of Washington and gives notice of its intent to impose fines and to charge costs. Respondents each have a right to request a hearing on the Statement of Charges.
