10/08/24 Hello my name is *** ******* i was sold this 2011 **** f150 with warranty for ***** out the door. Two days after having my truck my check engine light came on. I called and the owner stated to bring it in,cool. Owner stated he need to order **** parts and to leave the truck well take care of it. 8 hrs later your truck is ready for pick up. Thinking all is well the next day my check engine light came back on, following up with **** they showed you guys ordered the part but never picked it up and if you never picked it up you never did the work. The code was cleared. Fast forward I only was able to drive my truck twice. Fast forward upon diagnostic my truck came without a Catalytic converter. Federal law states under THE CLEAN AIR ACT Federal Law prohibits a dealership from selling a vehicle without a catalytic converter. (Per documents attached) Transmission is bad(please see attachments) ********* to repair upon contacting The warranty company. That amount exceeds what the warranty covers that was offered to me. I want a full refund and they can have there truck back upon no catalytic converter. I'm not the first one there done this too I'm just the first to speak up about. Please helpBusiness response

I am rejecting this response because: Upon past interactions with your staff about this issue i was kicked off the lot,and threatened with law enforcement, yes me a paying customer. Again per the evidence and my truck not having a catalytic converter and per inspection looks like you guys
Knowingly covered it up. Day 2 after purchace when I contacted the business the said parts from **** needed to be ordered. You guys had my truck for 8 hrs and called to say it was ready. **** physically confirmed the parts were ordered but never picked up. The check engine code was cleared. So no sir. *** these findings of my truck not having a catalytic converter, which is in violation of federal law.(clean air act) I will like a full refund of my purchase $16000 and In exchange you can obtain your property back and present a vehicle that upholds to federal regulations that your business is required to follow.

My number has been blocked from contacting you and per the email provided in the attachment my email has been reported as spam and I've since been blocked from sending or receiving messages regarding this matter. Again you have the proof that the vehicle 2011 **** f150 that was sold to me came without a Catalytic converter violates federal law per the dol violates your rcw. The *********************** is investigating this matter ******************************* has an open case and the *** has already determined that what was done to me violates your *** from getting kicked off your lot to the most of repair exceeds what the warranty covers and the miles exceeds what it covers which the warranty company *** has an open investigation I just want what I paid ***** and you can have your truck back cause nobody deserves to go through this.

Were sold a car that should qualify under the lemon law with a month the engine needed to be replace in a vehicle with ****** miles . They sold the car as it ran good passed all their inspections and it did not . We took the car in to a shop to discover they had used their own parts instead of what the manufacturer requested and that we paid ***** to fix . We have a warranty and they said they would bring the car back to look at it . This was in September . The manager constantly says he will call back and they will look at it and they never do its been weeks of them saying we will get to it soon . I would like legal assistance so they cover this and respect our time we are getting ignored basically I feel like . I am ready to hire an attorney and follow forward but am hoping this gets their attention and we get treated right as a customer since they are not willing to work with us . Please reach out and let me know my best step as I feel I have been lied to about the condition of the vehicle I purchased. Last month on October 12th, 2024, after two years of saving $8,000 and trading in my old car for $2,000 USD, I bought my first used SUV in the *** from Sports Car International for $14,995. As a single mom and recent widow, I was so proud of this achievement. But my joy was short-lived.A week later, my car started making noises. Sports Car International told me that I have nothing to be concerned for since they have sold me an additional $3,750 / 2 years extended warranty. Therefore, they send me with the *** dealership where I was told repairs would cost $9,046 (steering rack, oil leaking and battery) and weren't covered by the extended warranty since they all were pre-existing conditions.I handled the quote to Sport Car International and they (***** *******) instructed me, to drop the vehicle at their shop and they will repair the car at no additional cost. The vehicle was dropped off on Nov 11th at Sports Cars International car shop in ******* location After multiple calls, follow-ups, and stopping by several times for updates at Sports Car International with no news at all, I finally spoke to the owner (******* ******) on Nov 16, 2024. He refused to unwind the contract or exchange the car for another vehicle. Instead, he offered to repair it for $2,400 but required me to pay $1,200 upfront. He was very rude, yelling and kicking me out of his office while reiterating it was "take it or leave it" since he was doing me a favor.When I said I couldn't afford it, he suggested financing and completely changed his tone to kindness and amiability. He provided me a link to their partner lending company called Digni-fi, who would approve me in 60 seconds, and once I submitted the application, he would immediately move forward with the repairs. When I asked to come back and have time to complete and submit the application, I found out they have a 36% annual interest rate!I'm now stuck with payments on a car that doesnt run and facing a huge repair bill.Business response

We offered solutions and were able to minimize you financial exposure to $1,200 from $9600. Its clear your not cooperative or appreciative of our after sale support. Please pick your vehicle up and take it to a shop elsewhere. We will not be disperached this way. Yelp ****** bbb and having friends writing reviews as well. -03/14/2024 -$33,898.82 -Purchased Vehicle from Sports Cars International -The Dealership has done work on my car attempting to repair the 2016 **** F150. Dealership refuses to provide documentation on what was completed on the work completed between:03/16/2024 - 03/27/2024 04/07/2024 - 04/14/2024 06/23/2024 - 07/08/2024 - I purchased the 2016 **** F150 on 03/14/2024, on 03/15/2024 the check engine light came on. Sports Cars International has attempted to repair the 2016 **** F150 multiple times, and would not provide proper documentation on what was completed. I have taken the 2016 **** F150 to get diagnosed at **** of ********, and provided to Sports Cars International on the work done to vehicle and need to get this resolved. When Sports Cars International failed to fix the 2016 **** F150, I attempted to contact with no response. I then took the vehicle to M&N Absolute Auto Repair. The vehicle is now at M&N Absolute Auto needing over $20,000.00 in repairs.Business response

Miss rock has had several repairs performed by SCI to her truck after sale despite being sold as is and declining any service contract coverage and or protection plans. SCI was ethical and worked with miss rock by performing these repairs / services at no cost to her. Unfortunately she has had a continued series of issues with this vehicle which is out of our control however we regret that her experience has been needless to say, not good! At this point I dont know what I can offer miss rock other than to assist in repairs at her expense but at our vastly discounted wholesale fleet rates for labor and service. Also I recently communicated with her and assured her Id be communicating with her as I got up to speed with her purchase. I made myself available and willing. Regardless of her attempt to disparage my company via bbb even though we were communicating trying to make progress with her dilemmma SCI can and will save her thousands on any repairs needed. I offer a free detail years worth of oil changes and a full tank of gas as a gesture in good will. Thank youCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. ******* Yes I have had my car serviced at Sports Cars International, due to the check engine light coming on the next day after purchase. I was informed to bring the vehicle in by your employees. The truck was worked on, but came back to me in worse condition then prior to dropping it off. I have been refused documentation on what was completed on the vehicle, and do have a witness on what has occurred throughout my interaction with your Sports Cars International. I have attempted to received documentation on what was done, and been denied each time. I have provided documentation on the issues after what was done to the vehicle, paying out of pocket to provide to you. I did purchase the coverage for the vehicle, but when I was informed by Mahur, and ***** to take the vehicle from **** of ******** and bring it to Sports Cars International for repairs I was denied coverage for new motor. I have been informed by 2 separate mechanics that the work done to the vehicle was done improperly, and motor was siliconed with no gaskets causing it to seep into the engine and block the oil from circulating properly. I have been told by Sports Cars International that work did not have to be done to my vehicle that I should be happy, but my F150 is in worse condition since your mechanic worked on it. I have been without my F150 for 8 months now, and Sports Cars International will not tell me what was completed only that it was major engine work. My **** F150 is currently at M&N Absolute Auto, taken apart I need this resolved. I am requesting you cover some of the cost for the damage done to my vehicles engine, I am currently looking at $15,584 in work that will be done which includes the engine cost of $12,304.15.

Your company will only tell me it was major engine work, and has yet to provide me a detail report for each time I have brought my vehicle to you. They are refusing my right to a report on what was completed and are offering for me to pay for the damage they cause to my vehicle. I purchased a 2014 ******** E350 in early May from their dealership including a $1,700 down payment, I was told the purchase was final. ***** (the Finance Sales Manager) explained that he just needed me to keep resigning documents that I already signed, explaining that they made errors and had to fix them for my lender, ************** Services, to approve. I had to return to the dealership 2 more times to sign documents I had signed, I also had to Docusign the registration again because of "errors." It turned out I was never approved for my loan and this was not communicated. On top of that, the car came with undisclosed mechanical issues that would be obvious to any mechanic and the dealership made no mention. When ***** and Sports Car International finally told me the loan fell through and they need to search for a new one, I decided to unwind the deal to which the dealership proceeded to take $700 of my $1,700 down payment, I explained to them the law directly from the Washington state ************************* website, they created excuses for why they needed to keep it (this is after I invested into the car including a new battery, $700 service, new gas cap, etc). The lies on top of lies, this business swindles people without a single care and will lie to your face to steal from you. I only signed off to get my $1,000 because they refused to budge and I didn't want to walk away without any of my down payment back.Business response

I bought a car 2013 ***** Camaro from sports cars international on march 27 2024. I was never told about any of the issues the car had and nothing got pointed out to me. I reached out to the business multiple times and left a review on ****** that they scammed me were ignoring me. Not returning my calls or emails. Now Im stuck with a $19828.26 car loan and a car with many issues. There is a gurgling noise coming from the dash. There are 3 different size tires on the vehicle and all low tred one tires has a leak repair and is getting bigger. And all the **** sensors are missing and **** light is flashing. There is no wheel lock key to the wheels and no spare. There are many dents and cracks in the body of the vehicle. The trunk leaks when it rains. The brakes on the car are very bad. The steering wheel vibrates at freeway speed. The *** plug is damaged so no shop would be able to communicate with the car. I have the inspection form that proves all this.Business response

we have offered support on multiple levels however the customer is borderline stocking our dealership. Every email and phone call is from another person. You simply will not deal with this. The car purchaser may reach out directly. We are happy to help with her repairs and provide them wholesale service on parts and labor. On 7/9/2021, I purchased a 2013 ****** *** from Sports Cars International (SCI). SCI never disclosed that the car had been in an accident where the front end was rebuilt. Recently, I attempted to trade the *** in for a new vehicle and the ****** dealer informed me that, because of the undisclosed accident, the vehicle was worth half of what I had paid for it. Due to the low trade-in value, I was unable to purchase the new vehicle. If I had known about the accident, I would not have paid SCI's asking price for the vehicle.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: while the vehicle was drivable, it immediately required a new clutch and all fluids replaced. I understand that is part of purchasing a used vehicle. However, my complaint is that the car had been in a prior accident which was not disclosed at the time I purchased it. The purchase price of the vehicle was much higher than what I should have paid for a car that had been in an accident.

We purchase a car and they put gap insurance on the car which I told them not to because we were paying off in 30 days. We paid off the car and contacted the insurance company and **** said we had to contact the dealership and they would contact the insurance company. We contacted Sports car international and they send up an early pay off for to sign and return. They never refunded our money. I purchased a vehicle on 9/20/2023. After the price was agreed upon, I was told I had to purchase a theft protection policy. I told them I didn't want that policy, but was told it was required, Co policy. I wanted the vehicle, so I proceeded with the purchase, but expressed I shouldn't have to buy this policy since I already had insurance via Progressive. I completed the purchase. The policy is suppose to pay off the car loan if stolen, but not the entire balance, the dealer keeps *******. This was a 5yr policy. A few weeks later after thinking about this theft policy, I called NSD, the company holding the policy. On 10/27/23 I canceled the policy and was told the dealer would be providing the refund. I waited several weeks but had not seen a refund, so towards the end of November, I call the dealer and left messages on several occasions, asking them to call me, but they never called back. In December did the same thing, no return call. All this time, they are still advertising the car I purchased back in September. I finally reached the salesman who sold me the car, asked him to have the manager call me regarding the refund, but never heard a word from them. Fast forward to 1/22/24, I talked to *******, I think that was his name, explained the situation. He told me the manager wanted me to send him the cancel notice from NSD. I did that. (They should have received that back in October when i canceled it). Still nothing. On 1/31/24 I called again looking for the refund check. Was told it's in the mail. As of 2/13/24, still no check. I just want my refund, which is ****** plus tax. The dealer told me that policy is non refundable but there is nothing in the contract that states that. I have verified with NSD several times that the policy was canceled, so I want a refund of that policy.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: there is nothing in the contract that I signed that says I can't cancel it. If it's non cancellable, it should state that in the contract. Also, if *** is not suppose to cancel the policy, that should be made clear to them by Sports Cars International. According to ***, the policy has been canceled, it cannot be reinstated nor do I want it reinstated. I was told by *******, one of the employees that a check was in the mail, which at this point appears to be a lie. Also it appears to be a very dishonest dealership. What else have they lied about. I don't have a policy and want a refund, and will settle for nothing less. Also, why did the manager request that I send him a copy of the Cancellation i have from *** if he had no intention of providing a refund. It appears no one at this dealership can be trusted. I want a refund. You are holding my money without a policy.

I called on 2/2/24 spoke to one of your employee who told me a check was sent out the week of 1/22/24. So as I have stated before, they lied. So, it appears your employees can't be trusted. What kind of business are you running. I think it's herendous that you won't refund money that is not yours since the policy, as stated before, has been canceled. I could understand if the contract stated that canceling was not an option, but there is nothing that indicates that. I am still expecting a refund.*************************

It appears that **** at Sportscar international encourages a culture of dishonesty at this dealership. He seems to be ok with the lies that his employees tell. Again, I was told a refund check was being sent when they had no intention of doing so. That is unforgivable.
