them to set up a reasonable payment plan for a past rental balance, and they told me I had to apply for at least three loans and show proof of denial before they would even consider it.When I requested written confirmation of this ridiculous policy, they refused and claimed they dont use email anymore. Their representative, *****, was aggressive and hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. They are using predatory tactics to pressure people into full payments instead of working with them fairly.Review from Stacey K

If I could give them a 0 I would. The people who work here apparently have never been to a customer service training. They are rude. I was supposedly transferred to a supervisor who kept speaking over me, then stated if I have 3 kids my taxes should be good and pay ny debt with my taxes. I know I owe this debt and I contacted them for resolution but the next lady I spoke with said I was just fishing and hung up on me. This company is a joke and all the employees are too!Review from Jeremy M

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Firstly, as a debt collector, your sole job is to collect a debt in whatever way that works for both you and the one responsible for the debt. IF your company offers a settlement offer to a consumer you need to abide by that settlement letter. At NO POINT should you make the consumer feel bad about his debt, disrespect him/her or treat them rudely. I WISH I could say I had a good experience but I called trying to settle an account after receiving an offer for up to 40% off if settled within 30 days, or up to 30% if settled within 60 days but after the first 30 days. I was talking with a lady named ****** ******* I believe her name was. She was RUDE, talking over me, speaking louder, not allowing me to try and express any kind of thought or opinion on MY call. She told me my options and that was all she wanted to say. And all she wanted to hear from me was Yes or No basically. Anything else she interrupted and pushed my call to a permanent hold. If I called back, and asked to speak with someone OTHER than her, they of course directed me STRAIGHT to her. And she was ***** each time. The last time she hung up saying pay your bill or stay on hold and hung up immediately. Mind you, she needs MY money to make her money. But shes treating me like this ? Its absurd that this is the respect we get from debt collectors. I tried one last time to call, and when I was directed to her again, I said this company is a joke and hung up. And I meant it. I highly suggest if anyone has an account opened with them, they look into other ways to pay off the collections without having to talk with IQ Data International. Theyre a joke. (Or.. heres a tip.. just wait a year or longer, usually every 6 months they will send out a settlement offer in the mail, and get them to accept 60-70% off your balance and say s**** them - theyll take what they can get)Review from Kelly M.

I agree with everything here. I work in customer service and we keep logs/recordings of everything. I supervise for financial reimbursements and legal inquiries. Despite me requesting my voicemail be pulled from the logs, ****** was no help and denied having that data in the platforms these remote representatives use. I understand they're "doing their job", but blatantly refusing to acknowledge/reference a recorded voicemail/transcription for the situation is incredibly frustrating. I called them before a charge was going to be attempted on my card, including my sister, to address the adjustment needed and they did NOT pick up the phone ANY of those times. They leave it to ******, who will call from another area code and be super vague. They are not here to help with hardships, DO NOT TRUST.Review from Kernesha T

9/31/2025 Debt $2,400.00+ from Park Trace apts, *****************, ** submitted to ******* Intl. Debt was due to constructive eviction (breaking lease) due to two bad water heaters leaking natural gas and carbon monoxide in apartment. Issues noticed first day in apartment but apartment manager said the smell was due to carpet cleaner. Apartment did not report issues before allowing me to move in and did not fix for two months. CO levels at time of breaking lease were 50ppm in water heater closet and 15ppm in apartment. I had to leave the apartment due to illness from carbon monoxide gas. All information and documentation submitted to ******* Intl, but debt + interest over three years continues to show on credit report. ******* **** should remove this debt from my credit report or offer a discounted settlement with deletion.Review from Cara S

Before I complain, I want to note that I understand this is a company just trying to get debt from people, therefore its not supposed to be a pleasant experience. However I do not believe that that warrants them to mistreat the people they speak to. I called to inquire about a debt that hit my credit that I wasnt aware of as I had moved and they were unable to contact me. I started asking questions and the representative (I wish I remembered his name!) got extremely nasty, abusive, and demanding. He ultimately hung up on me. I want to get this debt solved but he totally discouraged me and I feel horrible after the way I was spoken to. They make it difficult to take care of these issues and negotiate a solution. I am not angry that I have a debt. I am angry with how this was handled, and I see other reviews about their unfair practices. I am unsure how they get away wirh verbal abuse, on top of refusing to send any proof or bills to someone. I have dealt with only one other collection agency and they were super nice, helpful, and pleasant. ** data needs to re evaluate themselves as a company.Review from Ashley G

Moved out of the ***************** complex back in Feb 2023 due to the fact I was deploying. I gave the complex 30 days notice. They gave me the amount of half months rent and that was the final fee. I get a call from the collection agency August of 2024 saying Im in collections and been since Jan of 2024. I had no idea what was even for. The person on the phone was super unprofessional. Never introduce herself. I told her the situation and how I gave supporting documentation to the apartment complex before moving out. She gave me an email address to dispute. Next day I see Im in collections. I tried emailing multiple times. I finally get ahold of them on the phone and this person is also rude. I told him the situation and he told me how I was wrong and didnt provide the right documentation to the apartment complex about moving out or providing them orders from my deployment, and how I broke my lease a month early.. even though my leave ended in Feb of 2023 and I paid the fee/half months rent. I never once received anything in the mail from either the apartment complex or collections agency, the information they provided was wrong, and they were extremely unprofessional.Review from Joanna C

Very rude customer service. They kept trying to convince me to take out loans to pay off the debt I owe them. The lady I spoke with was very demanding and she wouldnt take no for an answer when I told her I didnt have the money right now to pay it. She would not even allow me to make payment arrangements. I hung the phone up because she kept trying to argue me down. They need to learn better customer service!Review from Santina B

I received a call regarding a debt. I wasn't aware of the balance that was owed because I never received a final notice. I explained to ******* I would need a final bill for review to determine if the balance was accurate. I outreached to the company they debt is owed. The forwarded the bill via email. I spoke with ****** twice regarding this manner. She was rude and very unprofessional. I explained I needed to dispute the charges and how to go about if doing such. She stated, responding to the correspondence that was sent. I explained nothing was ever sent from *******. I would prefer to wait for the correspondence to dispute the charges before proceeding. She states, we prefer you to pay what you owe then dispute the remainder. She was very argumentive and unreceptive. I asked to speak with another representative and she refused. She stated no one wants to talk to you and to pay your debt. This company has no business being in business if they're not able to handle disputes appropriately. Zero Rating.
