I have been billed multiple times for the same thing. I paid the agreed upon price for service. And they came back months later and billed me additional charges for a service that was already paid for.

Date of service with Aspen Dental was on 10/03/2023 worst experience ever they took X-rays and referred me to the wrong specialist and that specialist referred me to another specialist. Had 3 office visit on 10/03/2023. The two specialist were paid in full from my work insurance and out of pocket costs. Not sure why Aspen Dental is taking forever to credit my claim. Ive been doing Aspen Dental job trying to process my own claim. Dental Aspen sent me a **** statement 10.23.2023, 11.22.2023, 12.11.2023, 1.10.2024 with past due notice and $58.40 discount, 2.9.2024 final notice going to collections.Text message were sent on 11.2.2023, 12.1.2023, 1.3.2024 friendly reminder for my **** ************************* ********** option 4 on 11.2.2024 front desk, 11.3.2023 ****ing saying my insurance hasnt paid called my insurance that same day and confirmed Aspen hasnt submitted my claim Called ****ing 12.1.2023, 12.14.2023, 01.03.2024 and 01.12.2024 was told wait 2 more weeks, 01.22.2024 payments still hasnt been processed.Aspen filed the claim until 12.18.2023 my insurance mailed check #********* for $292.00 process on 12.23.2023. Dont understand why ** still receiving past due statements and final notice before going to collections. Ive have done everything in my power to get this resolved for the last 5 months when Aspen really do any work besides taking X-ray and sending me to the wrong specialist. Please help or advise what I can do to avoid collection for something that I am not in fault.

Received a call on 3/3/2024 from Aspen dental office letting me know that they received my complaint. They let me know that they removed the balance and my account is zero. I explained to the office manager, I dont think removing the balance takes care of the issue because the check was mailed from Insurance on 12/26 still has not been processed to pay my account. I was told she was going to get her higher up management. Never got a call back.

After all the time and effort I spent dealing with this invoice . Im really disappointed with Aspen handling the issue with no empathy. It was more about how their billing system works. When receiving the last final notice, this is when i decided to file the complaint.. When receiving the call from Aspen the first week of March to confirm they received the complaint and remove the balance. I decided to call my insurance to confirm if the  check was negotiated to pay my outstanding balance they confirmed Aspen actually cashed my insurance check on January 26, 2024 but this amount was not applied to Aspen account until March 8. Which triggered a final notice when I wasnt supposed to. Also if I was receiving statements owing a balance, I asked for a new statement showing that my balance is zero. They said they couldnt provide me one since my insurance paid. Why does it matter how the statement was paid if they were billing me each month. At this point taking Aspen word that the amount is zero.

This dentist office told me they recommend a deep cleaning on my teeth, had me open a care credit account and charge **** dollars to get the payment in full before I went to the one appointment they scheduled to do it in. I than went for a second opinion somewhere else and was told with my insurance and 2 appointments it would be 80 dollars for same procedure. Aspen dental over charged me. Now they have been asked 4 times to send my exrays and they have not yet, nor have they fixed my credit rating for pulling my credit to start a care credit card I didn't need, nor have they resended the **** dollars charged to it.
