  I regret to say that my experience with this contractor / Nova Home Builders LLC was exceedingly disappointing. He failed to complete the most basic aspects of painting, such as adequately preparing and sanding down the walls. The result was a mediocre paint job, and he also neglected to properly cover my personal belongings, leading to unnecessary mess and potential damage.In addition to these issues, he caused damage to the plumbing on my property and, inexplicably, installed drywall over both plumbing and electrical outlets. When confronted about these numerous problems, he refused to accept responsibility for his poor workmanship.To make matters worse, he decided to abandon the project entirely, claiming he had more significant projects to attend to. His behavior demonstrated a clear disregard for my needs as a customer, putting his own interests first.I would strongly advise against hiring this contractor if you value quality and professionalism.

  After reaching a settlement agreement with the homeowner, where both parties agreed to a specific deduction from the total contract amount, the homeowner is now requesting additional funds, which was not part of our original agreement. We have responded formally, reiterating our stance and outlining the next steps moving forward.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  Unfortunately, I must express my strong disagreement with the companys handling of this matter.The $1000 deduction was based on an unfair and unethical estimate provided by Nova Home Builders LLC to finish and repair the paint job. However, an independent contractors assessment revealed that the repair costs to meet minimum industry standards far exceeded the amount deducted from Nova Home Builders LLC. Also there was a deduction of $700 for the baseboard installation and painting which was not completed as per Nova Home Builders breach of contract.  
  I want to emphasize that the deduction was for paint job only I never agreed to deduct any amount for any drywall repairs. The quality of the drywall work does not meet industry standards, as confirmed by a professional inspection.
  The damages to the plumbing were not adequately addressed. Nova Home Builders must take responsibility for these issues promptly.
  In addition to the paint , drywall and plumbing damages concerns, there are expenses related to cleaning light fixtures, blinds, heaters, and personal belongings. These costs were not factored into the deduction of only $1000. I have incurred fees for independent inspections to assess Nova Home Builders performance. These fees should be reimbursed promptly.
  Given the circumstances, I expect a full refund by the end of this week. The situation has consumed a significant amount of my time, and I am eager to move forward. Please refrain from contacting me for anything other than the resolution of this matter.
  Furthermore, I believe it is essential to document my grievance. I intend to share my experience with other consumers to help them make informed decisions. Nova Home Builders LLCs performance falls below industry standards, and their lack of ethical conduct is deeply concerning.
  Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I trust that Nova Home Builders LLC will take immediate action to rectify the situation.
