My road has been long and hard. Having severe Depression, Anxiety and being Bipolar has made life challenging to say the least. I have been searching for the right medication for over 30 years. I have tried 48 different medications so far with no real significant difference for me. I have seen dozens of different providers that all try a different approach, again, with no real significant difference. I have been on SSDI for several years. I have also gone through 44 ECT Treatments; Electro Shock Therapy. It was my current Psychiatrist that recommend trying Ketamine Treatment's. I was ***** initially, but I will never stop trying to be a semi-normal productive human being in this world; I desperately want to be the best version of myself that I can be. So where to start about my experiences w/Lighthouse infusions. First; I have completed six treatments. I feel like Ive been given a new life.As soon as the first infusion, I noticed the memories werent as loud. I started getting productive in my days. After the last treatment, its truly as if they have no voice at all. Its like I know they are there but they have no voracity. Suddenly I am just me. I am able to go thru my day doing what Im doing and not battling that background noise. If I think of a memory the pain of it just isnt there. That has changed my life. Im doing things I never thought I would. I have self-esteem again because I dont feel like a walking wound. I was initially so depressed that everything seemed challenging to me but he walked me through the process whilst maintaining both professionalism and a way of making me feel like I had nothing to worry about.
