On November 26, 2022, after seeing it being promoted on a Keto ************ channel, I purchased 2 bottles of Myoxience Berberine HCL "Fasting Accelerator." It was advertised as a product that would curb cravings for carbs before bed so you won't eat all night. This is a problem for me, so I purchased 2 bottles- I believed the description on the page AND, more to the point, I believed the Keto ************ channel that sent me to Oxcience in the first place. However, when I took the pills, not only did this product not curb my appetite at night, it actually seemed to increase it: after taking it, I found myself not just craving food, but ravenously hungry- even more than usual- and going into the kitchen over and over, looking for something to eat. I became afraid I was going to gain back the weight I had lost (doing Keto diet), so I stopped taking them after a few days. As this product is very expensive ($30.37 each), on December 20, 2022, I filled out the communication form and asked for a refund. On the same day , I received an email acknowledging my email (Support Request ****) and promising to review the matter and get back to me in a few days. When ten days had passed with no response from Oxycience, I sent an email asking if there had been some problem, as I had not received a response. I received no response to THAT communication, either. So, I am left to interpret this unresponsiveness to Oxycience not wanting to give me a refund and just hoping, if they ignore me, I will just take my complaint and go away. As is obvious from this, I am not doing that- $58.58 is a LOT of money to spend on a product that, at least for ME, did exactly the opposite of what I bought it for.

    Hi there,

***** reached out to us during the holiday season (12/20) requesting a refund. We had limited staff during that time but did get back to him in January.

He purchased two bottles of the same formula, complained one didn't work as he intended it to. I told him we normally don't do refunds after 30 days but am willing to make an exception because we missed his first note on 12/20.

We never heard back from him and that's where things stand.

If he's willing to ship the 2nd bottle back to us we'll refund it and the first one even though the complaint was recieved 40 days after his initial purchase.

    Thanks,

    ****

    Customer response

    04/12/2023

On January 5 (or so), I contacted BBB about Myoxience, a supplement business (**** ******************************************************************* / ***********************************). The problem was I had purchased 2 bottles of their Berberine HCL

supplement pills, but they didn't work (actually, they did the opposite of what they were supposed to do), so I emailed Myoxience twice for a refund. To which emails they did not respond. This is what brought me to BBB. In response to my

complaint, BBB contacted Myoxience. They responded to BBB that they would refund both bottles- the first bottle immediately and the second bottle after I returned it. They sent an email to me stating exactly this. They gave me a label and I

returned the bottle. They refunded me for that bottle. They did not, however, refund me for the bottle they said they'd refund immediately, the one I did not have to return. I emailed Myoxience that I did not get the refund for that bottle. I received

back an email informing me that they don't refund shipping costs. I responded that I wasn't asking for shipping costs, I was asking for the refund for the bottle they said they would refund me for without my having to return it. I attached a copy of

their refund proposal email proving this. I have not heard from them since. Myoxience appears to be reneging on what they told both BBB and myself they were going to do to fix my problem. Not cool. I would like them to finish doing what they

said they would do- refund me for the other bottle. P.S.: As the original BBB complaint was not screen shot, and the BBB emails on this matter appear to have been "disappeared" by my Gmail account (so I cannot attach them for reference), if

BBB needs to access the original complaint, please note that it might have been submitted by my wife, **********************************
