We took our motorhome to Ocean West ** mid March of 2023 due to our fridge was not running. We were first charged $620.43 for "parts" that didn't fix the problem, we took ** back and **** said we needed to the whole cooling unit that we were charged $1561 for part to get fridge repaired beginning of April 2023. By May we had not heard anything so kept contacting Ocean West to see when done as we had a trip planned mid June. Finally he said he had thrown out the old fridge insulation and it was on back order. We found the required insulation and had it expedited. We were then charged the remaining $1,096.90 for completion of fridge only to find out when picking up the ** that not only was fridge not working, damage had been done to the wood below and the bathroom lights/power was shorted out. We took to JR's ** Repair and they found fridge had been wired incorrect and power wire was ran to ground. JR's re-wired and fixed issue, we paid JR's $751.18. Then we were going to submit **** charge back but part of process was to allow Ocean West to correct of which they said they would. 3 more times we took our ** to them, never to have the issue corrected. On 2-1-2024 ****/Ocean West charged us $212.80 charge without our authorization to try another part, which didn't work either. He then said it was issue with the expensive cooling part that he would replace. That didn't work either. Finally giving up hope, we took ** back to JR's ** Repair and this was the issue: ***** electric elements were not wired correct. Fridge fans were installed but NOT wired. Burn change was not attached to fridge and was bad. We had to pay $727.82 to JR's ** but finally the fridge is FIXED! We sent our complaint/concerns to Ocean West ** and they will not even respond! Not only did we probably not need the expensive part, but we had to go all year without working fridge, many times of taking it to ******, and having to pay another ** repair shop to fix all of his ERRORS!

This guy is completely unreliable and does not know his equipment, I have lost count of how many times he has failed to show up to do work on my RV. I have waited months for parts he claims are so hard to get, while I could have purchased them online and had delivered in a week. Last time he showed up to install an automatic generator start, for when the power goes out, he brought the console only without the wiring harness, weeks later and after numerous no shows he finally shows up with the wiring harness only to tell me he then needed a box of some type to make everything work? and on that occasion, he broke my waist pipe to our clothes washer, while trying to mussel in the wiring harness going at it like an amateur without care. If it had not been for the parts I had on hand, no more clothes washer. He also worked on my generator and after the oil change and new spark plugs it has not run since. To this day, job not completed and generator still not working. No apology, no cooperation, and a really bad attitude from him. No accountability, only excuses. I paid in advance, Ive asked for my money back and I would send him his equipment, hes done nothing accept be belligerent and I fully expect NOT to see my waisted money again.

I originally had a friend drop of my RV for an estimate on the repairs and maintenance needed. He informed her that the diagnostics would be $500. Later I spoke with him on the phone where he requested my credit card before starting. I confirmed with him that he would send me an email with the estimate before starting any work. He charged me $950 and informed me he would need an approximative of $1500 more for the rest the work. 3 weeks later he could not give me a clear answer on anything. He had replaced the storage locks and ordered a few parts for the generator. When we ask how long it would take he got defensive and told us we're not the only ones with an RV that needs fixing. We agreed to take the motorhome with us until the parts arrived as he wouldn't work on it until then and we had a trip planed in 10 days. We worked on it and we brought it back as he said he could work on it. When we picked it up nothing was done on the generator but they did do the oil and filter change we requested and we went on our trip. About a week later I received an email stating I owed him another $3'300 which he had already charged on my credit card without my consent, for various things he listed including but not only:-$140 for awning cracked and requires replacement it is visibly torn and cracked and doesn't require an hour of labor to see this.-$783 for an oil change and clean up of engine compartment?! There is no reason that task should ever take 5 hours.-$105 for rear light that we informed him didn't work and still doesn't.-$264 for a LP ***************** Kit when ours is gasoline not LP and wasn't fixed -$475 for 3 new batteries because "they were getting old" Batteries were replaced without discussion or authorization. -$420 for wash and clean claiming it was green. We have picture from the day we dropped it off with no green to be found. On top of this neither the hot water heater or furnace are working. We demanded the money back but all he did was yell at us

I moved my motorcycle and car into Wiser Lake ********* Storage (a sister business to OceanWest *************************** Lynden) on August 14, 2021. I signed a 3-month contract and paid a $30 deposit. On September 18, 2021 I sent the business an email, letting the owner (***********************) know that Id removed both my vehicles, so should only be charged through November 14th. I followed up with a phone call. I was told that Id have to pay through the end of November. I was also told that they dont take deposits. I have a receipt proving that they do.On December 2nd I was charged for the month of December. I called and emailed **** and he told me that a check was mailed to me. I never received it. After a reasonable amount of time, I asked that they issue another one. I have not received a check or any communication since then, except one voicemail from *********************** and a threatening phone call on 03/14/22. He was upset that Id posted a negative review on selfstorage.com and other sites. On 03/14/22 he called me, threatening me because I'd filed negative reviews of his business. He then faked a receipt for $120, but dated it as 12/01/21. The charge on my account was on 12/02/21. If this was a legitimate check, why would it be issued before I was charged? I have given *********************** literally dozens of opportunities and months to resolve this. I emailed him on 03/14/22, letting him know that if I didn't receive either a check for $150 ($120 charge for December and $30 security deposit) or an image of an endorsed, cancelled check by 03/21/22, I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
