We hired **************** he goes by "****" to help remodel a house for our mother to live in back in September, 2023. His company names are Menes Home Remodeling LLC or Menes Painting and Remodeling LLC. **************************************************************** Phone #************ Email: *********************** He does not have a license or insurance. His L&I account is closed. He is fraudulently advertising and should not be doing business. He leaves most projects he starts unfinished and moves to another. His work is unexperienced and messy, he is rude and doesn't take suggestions or request from the customer well. We've had to go behind him on everything he's done to fix things. He leaves ******************* in the walls that are not capped and buried them with sheetrock. He buried the heater vents in the floor with all the new hardwood floors. When we showed pictures of where the plug in used to be or where the heater vent was.. he didn't fix it. Unfortunately, there are contractors like this out there. It's important to educate others to Not Hire him under any circumstance. He took an upfront deposit for the kitchen on 3/23/2024. He took the $12,000 and his tools and left. Nothing is complete, everything he did is half done. When I tried to communicate with him he said to me "Go ahead and try to file a complaint on me, there's nothing you can do" He's wrong though, we can educate others and that's exactly what we're going to do.

They hired me to remodel their mobile home, they loved my work ( pictures attached) ******* is ***'s wife, she is the one managing the project. I finished most of the project. Kitchen was almost done. I was out of town from March 17th to March 21st with giving them a notice. I came back to the project on the 23rd to continue working and I found that they hired someone else, and their been using my tools and half of my tools are missing . I was surprised why they did that so I had to take my rest of my tools and leave. I do have a lot of pictures and compliments from them I can provide.

Also I have insurance which I can provide too.

    Thank you

They said that I took a deposit of $12000 on March 23rd for kitchen remodel and left, on the invoice they submitted it shows the payment date was on March 8th, and on the above pictures shows the work is done. Which shows their lies.

They let me go because they keep changing order and keep asking me to do more work for FREE. which I didn't accept it. These customers are scammers which they want to slave contractors or labors with no payment. I have plenty of messages that's proof that

I am rejecting this response because: **************** (MENES Home Renovation) is an Unregistered Contractor with no license or insurance, which is fraudulent in ****************. Payment has been given and he received it for work that is listed on the invoices, but everything is unfinished. The pictures he sent are the same as he left on the 23rd. Nothing is finished! We have had to fix everything behind him. His workmanship is sloppy and people should beware.

    Sincerely,

Work has been done, I provided the pictures and the text messages of how they like my work, professional and organized. What are they saying is not true. In all the texts i provided they were happy and now suddenly my work is sloppy? Doesn't make any sense. The issue is they want me to do more work for them for FREE which I denied. They did complete remodel without providing any permits from the city . That's against the law of washington state. That's a FRAUD.
