We purchased a van from this dealership on March 24th 2024. Its now June of 2024 and we have not received our plates from them. We called one week after the temporary plates expired to ask if they had arrived only to hear they have not. The dealership then the next day offered us a loaner car stating there was an issue with licensing. They never stated what the issue was. After another few weeks went by with the loaner car we called them to check again, and still no plates. We then went to the *** to inquire about what the delay could be and the *** couldn't find anything in their system. They stated the dealership probably sold us the vehicle with out actually having the title already. They advised us to file a complaint. We returned to the dealership with the new information only to have them check their records and they didn't see anything either. So now we are at almost 90 days and still no plates. They never even gave us any copies paperwork of the sale/agreement. We left with only the tear off registration from the temporary plates. Our auto payments were never set up either after providing them with our bank information, I had to personally set everything up through the bank.Business response

On the 2nd of March I got a somewhat new 2022 ****** Corolla Hatchback XSE, with only 147 miles on it and have a loan of $30801.36 from BECU, . As of writing this today is the 17th of April the vehicle has a little over a thousand miles. *** I took it in to the ****** Of Marysville Dealership on the 16th of April, because of a noise that started about the second to third week of owning said. Which results in ****** notifying me of the car of having signs of being in an accident, having damage on the front right passenger side; being a bent lower control arm, ball joint, rotor, and wheel bearing. Now, Honda of Marysville says that they are not responsible. Since I now own the vehicle it is my responsibility and that the damage could have been done by a pot hole. *** a pot would not result in that amount of damage. Along with saying that they might be able to cover the labor. The end result I would want, is that the Dealer covers the cost of the repair in full, I will also provide pictures of said damages for reference, copy of pictures are from ****** of Marysville but taken and uploaded from my Phone.Business response

In July, 2022, I had my 2017 Honda CRV, Touring, in storage. Temperature exceeded 100 degrees F for **** days. AC unit on vehicle must have popped a leak due to heat. Car was not started or used. Once I discovered an AC problem, I called ********* for repair, and asked about warranty because I had purchased extended warranty and the car only had ****** miles and just under 5 years old and I bought it from them. They said it depends, bring it in. I did bring it in on Nov 16, 2022. I was getting a free oil change and after being pressured every time I brought it in I agreed to brake fluid and rear end oil change, as well as Repair of AC system. I was contacted and asked by ************************* if she could take my car home over the weekend. I made it clear I was not comfy giving them free range on my car. Sat 11/17/22 a different lady service advisor called to add more pressure, asking again to bring my car home with them for the weekend so they could drive the **** out of it in order to try to find a dye leak coming from newly charged AC. I said no . They had my car for 8 days, and then the Wed. before Thanksgiving, or the 23rd, ***** is again asking to take my car home for a 4 day weekend drive. I said I would come pick up my car. They never suggested that I could put some miles on vehicle and then come back for their dye check. Also, pressure testing is a common way to detect these AC leaks, no driving. They charged me $958.00 for nothing repaired. ******* vides report that Honda is very aware of AC system problems in this model due to inferior and cheaply made systems and should recall them. They are so shady , I don't ever want them to touch my car again. That means I will let them stuff my free lifetime oil changes up their you knows, do it myself. Every time I let them do an oil change they spill oil all over engine and my car now is dripping oil in my garage, maybe from AC, I don't know. I will go to ***** Honda in *******, ** to repair my AC.Business response

To Whom It ********************************************* regret that **************** had a negative experience at our dealership, however there was no wrongdoing. **************** brought his vehicle to our service department and authorized various repair work, as indicated by his signature on the preliminary estimate and repair orders; the work included brake system maintenance, rear differential service, and inspection/diagnosis of ** system issues. We inspected the ** system but were unable to locate any leaks so we proceeded to perform a dye test. We informed **************** that with dye tests sometimes it's necessary to retain a customer's vehicle overnight so a test drive can be performed to ensure the dye works its way through the system and reveals any leaks. However, as soon as **************** declined that offer we immediately made his vehicle available for pickup. When **************** retrieved his vehicle, we asked that he drive it around himself and inform us when the ** went out again so we could identify the source of the malfunction and provide any needed repairs, but he never contacted us or returned with his vehicle. We are still happy to assist him with those repairs if needed and we invite him to return to the dealership at any time.

Complaint: 19540700
I am rejecting this response because:They failed to mention that I brought my vehicle in on 11/16/22 and didn't get it back until 11/23/22. That is 7 days, and through 1 weekend. I was never told I would have to pay anything , because not only was car under warranty, I had purchased their $3000.00 extended warranty, and assumed since this vehicle is like new, with only ****** miles when AC stopped working in July, 2022, that they would stand behind something.
Instead, *************************, service desk girl, calls asking if she can have my permission to drive my car home and drive it around on Saturday and Sunday, the 12th and 13th of November. I didn't return her message, because I was uncomfortable with giving free range to whoever to beat my car. She had her co worker call and ask and I said no, I'm not comfortable doing that, but even more appalled that a professional company would request to just drive the **** out of my car over the weekend.
The next week, no updates, so I call about Tuesday,Nov. 22, and was told more driving and cycling AC was necessary, so I said fine, never being told I'm going to be charged $500.00 for their failure. So Wed. I am called and ************************* asks again to take my car home, only this time , it is a 4 day weekend, for Thanksgiving. She is asking to drive my car Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, in hopes that maybe they can find a leak. I feel like someone who is being scammed. Does this sound professional, or acceptable to you? I had told them twice that I was not comfortable giving my car away to strangers, or anyone. They never suggested that I drive it and come in for checks. That would have required that they make me pay before I take my car because why would anyone pay for them to not fix it? Anyway, by this time I have lost all faith that this is a reputable service department, I mean their main goal seemed to be to procure a nice car for their weekend joy riding.
I am a union steamfitter and a good mechanic. I know you can pressure test this AC system without starting motor. I feel I can not bring my vehicle back to these clowns in fear they retaliate, and sabotage to run up the bill. I talked with ***** Honda in ******* and was told that $500.00 should be a max ***** to REPAIR my AC, not just analize and drive the **** out of it.
I told them I'll come get it on Wed, Nov. 23. I had to pay them $955.86 for nothing. Then I am told they had managed to put 70 miles on my car, burning my gas. I have gotten 4 free oil changes from these clowns since my car was new. After the first one I noticed oil all over the top of the motor. I complained and again when I came in for oil change number 2. No difference, still dumped oil everywhere. I am willing to boycott these clowns and forfeit my free oil change for life. I think they should refund my $500.00 for AC repair, they couldn't complete due to their incompetence, so I can go somewhere reputable and get a repair. They will not get a chance to "spit in my soup" here, so to speak.
Another issue is that since looking into this 2017 Honda CRV AC units, ******* reports the extreme high number of failure in these AC units. Honda is aware of the problem and ,of coarse, is doing nothing. The issue is that Honda is guilty of going cheap, cheap, cheap, on parts and components for this system. They will fight off issuing a recall until they are forced legally. Meantime these shady service centers and dealers all make a killing and the consumer is screwed again. I, at least want Honda to know I will always be an anti Honda advertisement, to everyone I know and will make it loud , and the same for any and all Rairdons, of any model. And I know and represent a lot of people. Literally thousands. They would be money ahead to pay me $500.00. I will still get rid of this CRV thanks to all these crooks.
Thank You for your time,
*************************
Sincerely,
*************************Business response

I am rejecting this response because: They failed to mention that they had my car for seven days. I was never told I would be charged for them to pretend to fix a brand new AC that was under warranty and should be also covered by my $3000.00 extended warranty and although I was nearing 5 year old vehicle in July when I reported problem asking about warranty coverage they wouldn't tell me about my warranty coverage, although I repeatedly asked. They didn't fix anything but charged me $1000.00. My vehicle had less than ****** miles on it at the time. They are scammers. I just want them to know , I SEE THEM, and I will give them loud advertising to everyone I know, which is thousands of people, that will hear what shady practices they have. I will gladly go to ***** HONDA IN ******* FROM NOW ON. BBB DID NOTHING< JUST LIKE RAIRDONS< AND HONDA. THEY HAVE A LICENSE TO STEAL. I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND I WILL TRY TO HELP.

12/4/21 Purchased 2015 VW GTI with 81707 miles. Bought with check engine light on with the premise that it was due to aftermarket exhaust with no 02 sensor & cobb tune. Car bought with GAP, no additional warranty. Financed at $20,456.50. Given 7 days to return, 5 of which were held at dealer for tires and low beam bulb replacement, but bulb never was. A week passed auto would idle rough and smell of gasoline with EPC light present. Assumed it was because of the exhaust as previously stated by the dealer. On 12/23/2021 took the car to a VW specialty repair shop Autobahn Autowerk in Seatac to get low beam bulb fixed. Upon picking up the car was advised to return car and do not drive, possible serious misfires, courtesy check. Out of pocket $75.41. On 1/9/2022 spent $587.36 by Fly Towing of Seatac to return car to Marysville dealer noted they would not accept vehicle. Honda of Marysville on multiple occasions stated that they worked for Honda but were VW enthusiasts that the car was a weekend car not a car to be driven as a daily. They dismissed the claims that the car was misfiring. Head of sales noted "you bought the car as is and it would be cheaper to fix the car". Stayed to see about a trade but it would end up being at a loss. Left the dealer unhappy. Decided to move on and get a VW suggestion. VW of Puyallup on 1/25/22 spent $1850.92 on preventative maintenance needed for the car. Stated misfires also found fault code, new injectors would help but needed further inspection. Suggested car to be taken to local tuning shop. Noted oil consumption 2/18/22. Oil change at Yonker Mitsubishi in Renton misfires and sparkplugs changed $143. 4/8/22 scheduled appt with Achtuning VW performance shop in Redmond spent $316.64. Got email that car needs new engine or rebuild. Engine ran through series of tests ex. compression, leakdown test, and boroscoped to see circumference of the piston which looks different on cylinder 2 than others. Pistons damaged; plugs covered in oil.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I went to Marysville Honda to purchase a good working Vehicle, that would last me years while I continue to use it and like any used or new car service its usual Maintenace tires, oil changes etc. But not issues with the car a week into driving, EPC light came on directly in that week following the check engine which was on as mentioned by Representatives at Honda of Marysville that Check engine light was only on due to a o2 sensor missing because of an aftermarket exhaust that was installed previously, it's a shame such a beautiful car and foolishly trusting what appeared to be honest establishment. I've tried to return the car to the dealer and all I was getting was different sales reps and offerings of autos I did not want, everything I would have been willing to purchase was not even available, never did the dealer mention that the 2015 VW GTI I bought from them had multiple misfires, engine failures which is resulting in rebuild and or engine swap for another out of pocket cost not even 3 months after buying this car. I'm quoted currently at $6,405 for installation and labor. not counting my engine which would be used low miles anywhere from $4000-4500 quoted. This is cash I just don't have laying around aside from the fact I've already spent $2600.00 of my personal cash on expenses I didn't have to honestly check the health of this car at 3 different shops including an actual VW dealership, it's sad I'm honestly very un-impressed and would not recommend Rairdon's HONDA OF MARYSVILLE, off 15714 Smokey point Blvd. I should not have to deal with this headache if I had known I would have waited to purchase a car off the street at a much lower cost for the GAMBLE. The dealership offered assistance for my car they sold me at my expense, I understand AS IS, for a working car in which sales people won't lie in your face and in written form that all your car needs is usual car Maintenace and to ignore the check engine light its due to a aftermarket exhaust and cobb tune kit installed, the dealership staff all came by gracing me with (you bought it!) not knowing the mess I was in. In the end every staff member including ******* *** claimed we sell Hondas and all drive vws here. I believed them because there was vws parked at the dealership parking, Truely the dealership did nothing thus far in handling this claim or my in person appearance, they suggested I simply was not in tune as to what I bought, sales executive said this car is a CAR you drive on the weekend not every day honestly you didn't know what you bought its a project car, it's amazing because these guys act as if I bought some fancy sports car. It's not a FERRARI or anything it's simply a nice trim level GTI in the end I simply don't suggest this Company not saying anything about HONDA as a brand. I mean Rairdon's Honda of Marysville off SMOKEY POINT BLVD. DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE. PLEASE SHOP. CAREFULLY PEOPLE.

We are truly sorry that Mr. DeLaCruz is not satisfied with the vehicle that he chose to purchase. We have done everything we can to attempt to assist this customer with repairs, and he has rejected our offer. In the end it appears Mr. DeLaCruz got everything that he bargained for.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
This Dealer knows exactly the condition in which they sold their car. It's a shame because the offer Honda of Marysville is offering with repairs comes out of my pocket on my end. This is wrong as I've only owned the vehicle for a short period of time and as we speak it sits parked as I do not wish to worsen my car with me just making payments. Even worse it was just discovered that there is frame damage. Although nothing mentioned in the "inspection" that Honda of Marysville did. Thanks.
Sincerely,
