I had my truck towed there to have them fix it after it broke down. After them having my vehicle for almost a month I call and they say they put new lug studs and a brake rotor and brake pads for the right rear of the vehicle, also they stated they fix a coolant leak. They informed me that that had been driving my vehicle down the freeway and thru town without issues. I go to get my vehicle and the running condition of my vehicle is beyond my belief. It is not fixed it is worse. I paid almost five hundred dollars for them to fix my vehicle and they made it worse.

We repaired your wheel studs and brakes that had hit the ground from loose lug nuts and that's all you paid for. The warranty company would not cover someone leaving the lug nuts loose on the wheel and would not cover the bolts that hold the water pump being left loose. We resealed the water pump, we bled the air out of the system and test drove the vehicle and it was not over heating at the time. After the warranty was denied, we didn't charge you for the water pump repair or diagnostic time to find the problem with the cooling system for compensation for it taking so long to communicate back and forth with the warranty company. So, we have already compensated you for the inconvenience. On top of that we did 2 flat repairs for free as well ($15 each plus tax). The diagnostic time to pressurize the system was .5 hours ($179.99 per hr) the water pump repair should have been 2.5 hours labor ($149.99 per hr) including the bleeding of the cooling system plus 2 gallons of antifreeze at $20 a gallon for a total of $549.88 inc. tax.  This I feel was more than fair considering all my time spent on hold with the warranty company. I did my best to compensate your bill in fact we charged you less than half of the original bill. Thank You **** Total Auto Care

I am rejecting this response because: you didn't fix anything. All you did was clear the diagnostic code to get the check engine light to go off and it came right back on when I left your shop. And my three tires where brand new and aired up when your young mechanic was driving it down the freeway. So for you to charge me something that was just fine is wrong. And the last thing is your shop has cost me even more money having to have a honest mechanic fix what you didn't. You made my car worse not better by anymeans. I went to big bend and have ase certification.

    Sincerely,
