Modern Flooring was contracted to complete the installation of *** throughout our house. Scheduling was a nightmare, but they finally found a different company to come out and do the install. The end result was a bunch of issues that they are not going to remedy.. I made the mistake of paying in advance and now I will have to hire someone to fix the issues. I don't even know what the role of this company was in our install other than messing up our install date and sub-contracting some random company at the last minute to do our install. The worst customer service experience I have encountered. They deserve zero stars. Two thumbs down!

They didn't really go out of business, they just changed their name back to Lumber Liquidators from LL Flooring. This whole transaction is a big disappointing scam and I will be sure to warn others about using either business. Any company that doesn't stand behind their work is not a company I would recommend doing business with.Review from Charles T

Multi state scam. Big deposits, no qualified installers, no completion dates, non legal contracts, plus fake 5 star reviews. They glean customers from Floor &Decor due to poor oversight. Stealing wages and tax money. Fraud, fraud, fraud.Much more. Check them out on **************** BBB.Former sales employee. Going to court. You were fired for cause. It was your responsibility to run the market and you ran it. Ran it into the ground. If your claims of theft of any kind is true, it would have been done by you as the Market Manager. We will be lunching an investigation and should we discover any actions of that nature, we will be pressing charges. Thank you Modern Flooring Services for the great installation and wonderful service. We were left very pleased with the entire process and overall work. Would highly recommend to family and friends. I would advise them to also get accredited for BB as that will look better for future customers. Overall we are happy and enjoy our new floors.Review from William M

My wife and I highly recommend Modern Flooring Services. We had 450 square feet of an irregular-shaped floor covered with carpet upstairs that we wanted to replace with wood flooring. Modern Flooring Services provided a contractor to provide an initial estimate and a list of supplies needed to purchase. Then they sent a consummate professional and craftsman to install our floor. His name was *******, and he started by explaining what we should expect when he removed the carpet, prepared the subfloor, and then installed the wood. He provided different options for how the wood could be angled based on the floor layout. Then he went to work, and we cant praise his work ethic enough. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He also did a great job of minimizing the dust. If we opt to install new flooring in the future, we will definitely hire Modern Flooring and request ******* to install the floor.
