Spent almost $5000 on two of these ink beds. These are electric and have been awesome since weve had them minus the stitching starting to come apart in certain places. Contacted Ink then they told us keep an ion it as long as its under warranty they would replace the parts if needed if it got worse. So a few months later has gotten way worse went through the same routine of messaging them and sending pictures and they came back and told me even though its in warranty time theyre not going to warrant it because it is still intact and not completely torn apart

As can be seen from the pictures, these loose/************** are part of the decorative stitching.  Careful snipping of the loose ends would resolve these, however we comjpletely understand how ***************** may not feel comfortable performing this.

While decorative wear and tear is not covered, InkBed will be more than happy to assist with this using our standard warranty procedures.  ****************** does not need to send the entire bed in to InkBed - only the affected cushions (which can be easily removed with standard tools).  When the InkBed service center receives the cushions, we will take all needed action to remedy this situation in full.

******************, please contact our service department for an RMA form for you to fill out and send in with your cushions, so our technicians can best service your cushions.

I made a large purchase with this company that they were unable to fill. Due to the amount being purchased they had asked me to wire the money to them instead of using the traditional card transaction. I had their wire information stored in my bank account and a month later I send them $1700 on accident. I asked for a refund and they refused to give the money back.

    Business response

    03/01/2022

-- On 10/8/2021 ************ wired InkBed over $5668.55.Not a week later ************ then contacted InkBed to cancel his order and request a refund check.  InkBed was happy to immediately comply.

-- On 11/5/2021 *********** wired InkBed the $1700 he mentions in his complaint.  This money was wired to InkBed without an invoice, and without explanation.  InkBed phoned ************ for clarification and he responded he wanted to cancel this again, and would like a check sent as a refund.

Please note, *********** was well aware of our refund policies on wires he originally chose the wire option because as a clearly listed incentive on our website; bank wires receive a sizeable discount on product pricing, as we are not charged a CC processing fee by the credit card company.  This is the reason ************ selected this option over a quote traditional card transaction.   InkBed does not understand why ************ is trying to paint this as a mandatory requirement we spontaneously enforced on his individual transactions.

In todays market, there have been many attempts at fraud and money laundering using the exact same situations described above.  InkBed was informed and warned by our bank ********************** of Washington State not to cut a check for an immediate refund.  Anyone can perform a simple ****** search on wire fraud or money transfer scams and will see many detailed explanations how rampant this problem is, and how easy it is to pull off.  In fact, the United States ************************ has detailed information on these scams at:  https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/.  Now InkBed does not believe ************ is attempting to pull a scam, but as directed by our Bank, we are waiting for a 180-day safety/grace period before issuing the full refund.

************ currently has the full funds available as InkBed store credit.  He can access and use this balance at any time to make purchases as he desires.  For the safety of both ************ as well as InkBed, after a full 180-day grace ******* ************ will be issued a company check refund of the entire $1700 wire sent.  This check is automatically set to be cut and mailed on May 5, 2022.

It is important to note, Mr. ***** situation is not standard policy for InkBed this is done upon recommendation by our bank as a safety precaution to protect both the customer and our company against potential money wire fraud.  This would not have been a consideration had ************ not performed the exact same action (wire to immediate refund) less than 30 days prior.
