If there were a minus star rating, it would be awesome. Long story short, we agreed on a $300 price below the **** with the salesperson. When we completed the sale forms, the Finance Manager ran through the paperwork, and we signed. After a week, when we looked at the paperwork, we realized that we were charged not only the full price but also an extra $299 for a tracker that came with the car.The finance manager, ******* *., is the best con artist of all. When we complained after a week, the salesperson acknowledged that we agreed on the $300 below **** and that we should never have been charged the $299 for the tracker since it was supposed to be included. We tried to resolve the issue with the finance manager, but he dismissed it outright. I was planning to buy another vehicle from them - Toyota Crown Signia, but no way. I am glad I stayed away from them and highly recommend Toyota of *******-SODO. One Price Simple. I have bought from them, and they are great.

Review from 11/2023:I am very disappointed with Toyota of Renton. I called in today to find out how much it would cost to have my car serviced for ****** miles and I was told it would cost me between $1,100-1,200. And oil change would be $140. This was very questionable to me because I never suspected to ever pay this much to have my car serviced. I decided to go to Toyota of ******** and the employee told me they should never have quoted me at that rate (it is too high) and that I have a maintenance package that goes up to ****** miles! I am not coming to the Renton location anymore, because of misguided information. Thank you for servicing my car until today!Updated Review from 11/26/24: I went through all of my paperwork and services and plans that the Finance Team of Toyota of Renton sold me. They sold me a plan for wheels & tires, Windshield, appearances, etc, through Toyota which cost me a little over $1,400, and also they sold me the exact Windshield and appearances services through a 3rd party, PermaPlate that was at about the same price or closer to $2,000. This is the most dishonest thing a dealership can do, sell the same services either as double or through Toyota and a 3rd Party. It is unfortunate I was naive and blind to see through all the paperwork, but this only proves to read through every single paperwork and to not trust the person who ultimately is making money off of you. Please go with a dealership you can trust.

The maintenance packages through Permaplate are a different package. One is for the interior exterior/Permaplate and one is for the windshield which is also Permaplate. The quote on service was if she did everything recommended but definitely not required which was definitely a mistake on my service *** as they should have quoted the basic price along with looked up that the guest had autocare and quoted the base number and what the additional would be if they did what was recommended. I can explain further and hopefully make right just send me a email or call me at ************ and I am happy to discuss

Thanks for your response. To elaborate on the service packages I am talking about.PERMAPLATE:1. Permaplate windshield: paid $1,433 2. Permaplate appearance: paid $899 TOYOTA 3. ************ protection with cosmetic coverage: paid $1,425 for a platinum plus plan ************** paint less dent repair, windshield repair.)Why was I sold Permaplate plans if the Toyota cosmetic coverage already covered it all for me?

I spoke to **** *****, General Manager at Toyota of Renton this afternoon. He had explained the packages that were purchased through the Dealer and the 3rd Party. He was also able to speak top me regarding the misunderstanding regarding ****** mile service that someone from his store quotted me. He apologized on behalf of the dealership and asked me to call him closer to my ****** mile service so he would be able to accomodate the services for my car and make things better. I will update it as soon it will be taken care of.

We went in to Toyota of Renton looking to buy a Highlander. Since they didn't have the color and trim we was looking for, the sales person ********, did a research and found one that they could trade so we can buy it there. I want to clarify that ******** did an outstanding job, she was very courteous and diligent and we was ready to make a $1000 deposit to hold the vehicle (Her manager **** was putting a lot of pressure on her to make us leave this deposit). Then this guy came out to talk to us (short Asian guy who's name is **** or Envi or something like that), and started to talk to us in a very rude way, and started pushing us into submitting an application so they can bring the car in, so I asked, "are you telling us that if we don't submit an application, you're not bringing the vehicle in?". His answer was "no, if you don't apply, I'm not bringing a $50K vehicle in", (they only had 2 Highlanders in their lot at the moment and 2 more on transit), then I asked why they would ask us to make a $1000 deposit to hold the car then, his response was "I didn't ask you to", then ******** (salesperson) tried to say something but he told her to "shut up" in the rudest way you can imagine. That was more than enough, so at that point, I stood up and said, "you know what, never mind then" to which he, standing up as well, responded "okay, get the f*ck out of here" (?!!) and started walking away. That's when I asked "are you serious?... what's your name?, then he turned around and walked towards me and, putting his face at mine like threatening to fight me, said his (which I didn't clearly understood) out loud. At that moment, as I think everyone else would, I said "I want to speak with your boss", "I AM THE ***** he yelled. I'm a sales manager myself, and I know this is not the way a customer should be treated, under any circumstances. ******** did and excellent job and had pretty much gained our business, but this guy came and trashed everything she did in a minute!

Three hours for a simple oil change!!!!Dont bring you car here if you have a life!Their estimated time has no link to reality.I was told 1.5 hours and waited 3!!! Plus they stripped my lug nuts and wouldnt fess up to it, claiming it is normal wear and tear. That is the biggest pile of $h++ Ive ever heard! I went to their shop to inspect it my self and when I saw the kids that were working on my car I knew exactly what had happened I paid for professional mechanics and got trainees. Never going back to Toyota of Renton!!!! Stay the #LL away from this place!!!

Disregard of Agreement Contract. I bought a Toyota care Plus for car maintenance service at the time I bought my car. According to Contract Agreement the expired date 6-28-24 and expired mileages *****. Theres no where on the contract mentioned how many time of services I can have. When I bought my car in for service at ***** miles. They told me this will be my last service because I have 6 times of services. Is this call cheating? Toyota support website responses to my inquiry about the contract. Their email said someone will contact me on this date and time. But I did not hear from them as they said I would. Empty promise.
