Do not waste your time here! They stringed us along all day for a trade in that they originally offered $16,000 site unseen but told us that if we brought the trade in car to the dealership they could offer more. 7 hours later after they took it for a joyride putting 15 pounds of boost on the car and having to run numbers they claim everything was in working order there was no concern from the test drive but after speaking to his manager they didn't feel good about the trade going back on their original offer and wanted to keep our car for two days when they had someone without their head up their **** to look at the car even though they reassured us at the beginning of the day they were not legally allowed to do so. Overall this place is nothing but incompetence and a huge waste of time!

If I could give negative stars, I would.I brought my car in for a front passenger bearing. My car is old, ***** from ******* in *********** and high mileage. They recommended replacing all the bearings. For a car of this age, I typically only want to replace what is failing, and I trusted their judgement. When they started the repairs, they were not able to do them properly. They sent me a text saying their technician grew frustrated with having my car in his bay over a week, and he took my car off the lift and pushed it onto the lot and told me it's not driveable. Their technician literally gave up in the middle of repairs and left me with a totaled vehicle with thousands of more dollars in additional repairs due to damage they caused. They "somehow" attached my wheel to my car without a bearing and pushed it onto the lot and told me to come tow it. The damage they caused to the knuckle was due to them using a sledgehammer and waling on it. ************** inspected my car and left an . I have a rear passenger knuckle that is improperly seated, damaged steering rack and partially backed out and stripped bolts that were left as is.Totally unacceptable service. Don't go here. Go someplace else! Seriously!! Incompetent.

****** Renton Subaru - Red Flag Waring - Proceed with Extreme Caution Last year I my Subaru ********* needed work, and I consulted with the ****** Renton Subaru Service Team, and I was assured that the almost $10,000 dollars of recommended repairs would keep me safely on the road for a year. Seven weeks and $10,00 later I drove away. And for the next seven months, each 2-6 weeks I had to bring my car back to them for repairs. These included: - two weeks after a HUGE overall - a spark plug replacement and timing issues, - clutch rebuild due to complete drive train failure, leaving me stranded and in need of a tow truck. And this only a few months after ****** Renton Subaru had overhauled the drive train system ( I was told by an independent Subaru Repair Shop that a known error in repair lead to this failure), - additional drive train and timing work - front headlights not aligned after paying for this By this point, every one of the **************** Reps and Managers with whom I had been working no longer worked at this office. So I pulled my ********* from this business and took it to an independent Subaru Repair Shop.Long story short - after about paying ****** Renton Subaru about $10,000 and then my paying an additional $4,700 to make repairs and rental cars -when my car was unreliable or undrivable and the dealer did not have loaners in stock - ****** Renton Subaru has not replied to my phone calls or emails regarding their failure to make good on their promise of a drivable car after their repairs. FY- I sent them two letters registered letters AND four voice mails. So if you enjoy giving your money to a BIG dealership for poor car repairs and ****************, this is your place. But if you want value for your money - go to an Independent Repair Shop - cheaper in the end..

This dealer is obviously making money off not doing repairs properly and than persuading customers they need additional repairs. In my case, it was for the same work done before: a $5,000 valve cover seal replacement, and then my AT Oil Pressure light came on. I took my car to another Subaru dealer, and I showed them the paperwork from ****** Renton Subaru that said CVT transmission oil would not be flushed at ****** mile service, but the other dealer showed me a service notice from Subaru that said the transmission oil should be flushed at ****** miles. I believe this is why my transmission oil was overheating. I am looking at huge repairs, and so far the dealer has not offered to fix without more huge charges. The Service Manager is never available on the phone, nor does he return phone calls. Looking at many similar negative reviews on Yelp, I do not know why Subaru of ******* has not shut this dealer's repair shop down for defrauding customers. I know I will be filing a lawsuit soon against both the dealership and Subaru of *******, if I can't get resolution to this repair screw-up.

Bought a car here with cash. Sales and people seemed very nice. However, once I was off the lot, the post-sale customer service was awful and they made it extremely difficult for me to actually get my vehicle titled and registered. They said it wasnt their first rodeo with my situation. It seemed otherwise though!!! Because, either it was or they have no idea what they are doing. I dont know which is worse!

I took my Subaru to Walker's Renton Subaru on July 27 when the lights (traction control, hill assist, *** oil temp) lit up after an hour drive from Marysville to Seatac. The available service advisor that I was able to make an appointment with was ***********************. This was my first time here, and I know very little about cars, which I mentioned to ****. I asked about how the process works and what I should expect, but only **** looked at me with disdain and said, "You'll get an update around 3 by text." ****** condescending manner was not the only communication problem. I replied via text messages and received very minimal to no response. I, then, needed urgent assistance and was not getting a response, so I called the service department, who only said that **** will be giving me a call back. I never received a call back, so I ended up calling multiple times in a span of multiple days, and, again, never received a call back from ****.Diagnosis was $175, and the cost of the suggested repairs were over $5,000. **** said that after replacing the valve body, they will "do more testing to ensure there are no further issues down the line." On August 1, **** said my car was ready for pick up. I asked if more testing was going to be done, and **** said, "It was just the valve body that was the problem." On August 12, the same lights lit up on the same car's dash. I called Walker's Renton Subaru, and again, I was told that since *********************** was my service advisor, he will be the one to give me a call back. He never called me back. I called again because it was an urgent situation and requested a different service advisor.Having *********************** as my service advisor has caused me so much mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion.
