    I bought the glowforge pro April 2022. I used it for craft projects. not daily. by November 2024 the power supply to the laser quit working. Their customer service is not helpful whatsoever. This is out of warranty. They do not do the repairs their selves. They say they are bringing that back into the country and will update you when they say they do but that keeps going on and on. They referred me to a company that could help at $1,000. They will not tell you how many hours you used your machine. I believe because they know it's well below the amount of time you should be paying for replacement parts. The customer service seems like people who just use AI to generate responses. They do not really read your problems and respond appropriately. I have also asked several times how I can leave a review for them and they won't answer. They offer a discount for a replacement machine if you want to go that route but only for the highest priced machine when I already paid $6,000 for the original machine only 2.5 years prior. For the investment these should last a lot longer for the amount of time I used it. I feel completely fooled by this company.

    Expensive piece of junk. **************. Depending where you buy from you're looking at 600 to $6,000 depending on the model. Can't do much unless you use their software and if you use their software you're locked behind a paywall to do the simplest things. The only reason this company should be able to make extra money off of a customer is from the little projects that you can buy that are their creations. Other than that it's really stupid that I spend so much money on this and they want to make that much more money off of me because the subscription is $50 a month or $600 a year if you do monthly. But if you buy the yearly it's $300 that's ridiculous not everybody does this for a business I'm doing it as a hobbyist and they want to make that much money off of a hobbyist absolutely asinine

    Purchased the very expensive piece of junk on a Black *riday Sale in 2023. Arrived a few days later. Used it about 5 hours (at the most) in 2023 and 10 hours in 2024. The Saturday after Thanksgiving this year it broke. They offer a refurbished machine or they will credit you 75% of the cost of your machine towards the top of the line machien. I am unable to afford that. Was told the refurbished machine would be shipped once the warehouse opened after Christmas. Today I found out the shipping date is scheduled for March 25! In the meantime they wil not put a freeze on the $600 extended warranty I purchased so four months of that warranty is ticking by without a workable machine. Buying from this company was a HUGE mistake. Wish I had looked at BBB before purchasing to see the * they get in service. There are other options. Learn from my HUGE mistake. G* reminds me of a scam where they sell you the product, send you a faulty machine, then offer you a discount to upgrade to their most expensive machine. Horrible.

    This business don't uses fair practices in his sales, don't allow returns even when the package was just opened. If you are not satisfied with the product they obligate you to keep the product and continued paying for something that you don't want. We explained everything to the costumer services and his Supervisor and they said that is nothing to do with the case. OUTRAGEOUS!!

    This is a waste of money. These machines are pricey and do not work. Junk. You are constantly receiving error messages which make the machine unusable. Will not work for days at a time. Then when you finally get it to work, it will maybe complete 2 minor 2-3 minute projects before it dies again. I have only had this since Oct 2024 and I should not be having this many issues with a brand new machine. Company will not take returns. You are stuck with a worthless piece of equipment and yet Glowforge wants $50 month for their premium service! Look elsewhere for a better machine- run from Glowforge.

    Preordered my smaller glowforge back in April and I've been able to get it to run successfully less than 5 times (a total runtime of less than two hours)Their support team is there to delay and deny you any real help until your warranty expires. Your machine will be so reliant on internet connection that its a brick if there is any brief/momentary lapse in internet, causing wasted materials each time.Even with a new router, and after testing on 3 separate PC's glowforge will want you to buy more equipment to get your machine to work. This is a machine that was advertised to work out of the box with little drama. Save yourself the money and headache and get a REAL, high quality, Chinese, modular laser instead.

    This was the biggest mistake I made! This machine isn't worth $20 let alone $1000! I am on my 2nd machine and was told today I needed to replace the laser head and the warranty expired on 8/1/24 and they want me to pay $300! NOT ON YOUR LIFE! Piece of crap! I'm not putting another ***** into it! Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY FROM GLOWFORGE!!!

    if I could rate this company lower than one star I would.I purchased a glowforge pro for the rough cost of $7000. when I did so I was assured that all repairs are easily done by the owner, and for less than a full year I was satisfied with my purchase.then I was forced to store my glowforge in an unheated location in ******* over the winter... and the plate glass lid shattered. crappy, but not the end of the world. I called to purchase a new lid and was informed that I needed to send my unit in to be repaired. pretty standard. I just got my quote. to fix my broken glass lid they want approximately 90% of the purchase price of a new unit, and they only provide a 90 day warranty needless to say, this is more than just a little frustrating. they want me to pay thousands of dollars to replace a piece of glass and remount the lights and camera on it so now I am in the market for a new laser cutter and will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this "pig in a poke" company.

    just received my **** on april 15th the sole reason for buying was to use it for my cutting boards only to fine out they do not fit in the machine so my thinking was to send it back and upgrade to the pro .... they want to still charge me a restocking fee of ****** plus 99,00 for shipping back to them then they stop calling me back i know have a very expensive paper weight i cant not use . do not waste your hard-earned money on glow forge because they are a sketchy business that just takes your money and doesn't care if you are happy or not ..

    This company has horrable customer service people. id say its hit and miss. now the machine is not what they says it is. the macine to me are like the ******* of baseball. the almost kind of thing. they say you can use any material but you cant and it meses up the laser and after a couke of prints is sounds like its been in a accident. making noises loud . it had done some good jobs but havent made any money back off it. over priced
