Terrible service. Scheduled through AHS, they came to address a freezer issue. Never pulled the fridge out, never checked the temperature in the fridge or freezer and after 5 minutes said the issue was a bad freezer fan. They ordered the parts, scheduled and rescheduled three times to repair it. The back of the fridge panel was bent open instead of properly removing it. One part was actually cut open. After the repair the fridge buzzes loudly and I was told that was normal. When I complained to the company about the shoddy service, the tech claims everything is normal. When I said I would report it to the warranty company, he just said "Awesome" avoid this business if you want a proper repair done.Review from RENE J

Appliance Guard Pro/Fidelity Home Warranty - Unreliable and Inconsiderate Scheduling I'm extremely disappointed with the service from Appliance Guard Pro, assigned to me through Fidelity Home Warranty. They have repeatedly rescheduled my appointment, pushing it back week after week. Initially, it was moved from August 14th to the 21st. Then, at the last minute, they changed it to August 28th, and again on the 28th, they pushed it to September 11th.Each time, I've had to stay home and wait, only to be given a new date with no regard for my time. It's as if they expect people to take holidays just to accommodate their constantly shifting schedule. The last-minute changes are incredibly frustrating and show a complete lack of consideration for their customers.I strongly advise against using ********************** or Fidelity Home Warranty. Their unreliable scheduling practices are unacceptable and cause unnecessary inconvenience.Review from Christopher J

Pretty much ruined my dishwasher and walked away. Original problem was a small leak from the bottom of the door that required a seal replacement. The service provider has come out SIX times. First they damaged the dishwasher and countertop by trying to pull the dishwasher out without disconnecting the brackets. They dented the door, cracked the faceplate, left screws on the floor, the door no longer closes properly, and damaged the countertop. They RAN out of the house without showing us their work. My wife had to run after them into the street to fetch them and bring them back inside to show them the damage. They said they would "take care of it" and ran back out of the house. They installed side-mounting brackets but they are bent and sharp and sticking out about an inch from the dishwasher causing scratches to the door and a safety hazard to anyone trying to load/unload dishwasher.Several pieces of metal were found inside and around the dishwasher INCLUDING INSIDE OUR DOGS' FOOD DISH!!!The first guy admitted he had only been on the job for a few weeks and didn't know how to fix it. All we needed was the rubber seal replaced as it had disintegrated. They ordered the right part, but then said it was the wrong part, ordered another part, which was the wrong part, only to realize they had ordered the right part to begin with, but by then the damage had been done. SIX service calls! It has interrupted our work day and our lives. Avoid at all costs.Review from Scott R

DO NOT USE!! Terrible, terrible service. Been dealing with trying to get my dishwasher fixed for 3 1/2 months. They have scheduled multiple appointments that they have missed and which I have never received any explanation for. Then they told Fidelity that they had come and no one had been there. TWICE the supervisor said the tech had missed his appt and could not tell me why. And then they would close the ticket and I'd have to go round and round with Fidelity to re-open the ticket and avoid an additional charge. The last time when I told them to not reschedule the job until I could see if Fidelity could find another company they said they sent the tech out without scheduling or notifying me or the tenant and then the tenant refused service. Total lie, she said no one ever came. I'm done. I'll eat the service charge and pay someone else. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!Review from Michelle F

Wish I could leave negative stars! This person was sent by our home AHS twice. The first time was for our dishwasher that the door kept popping open during the wash cycle. After they left it completely stopped working and we had to replace it, it was 8 years old. The second time was for our washer and dryer, both 9 years old. Water does not drain from under the washer gasket, we have to mop it out after every load, and the dryer shuts off after a couple minutes. He was in our home for 3 minutes, looked at both and said you need new doors on both, I'll place the ************* call when they come in. The next day we got an email from AHS, the tech filed a report saying the washer was fine, no issues and the dryer had been "abused". We are only adults living in the house and use it daily but have never "abused" the machine or hung on the door. The tech refused to return our calls or the warranty company when we called to clarify the discrepancy between what he told us & the report. *** (the person that answers the phone) was unbelievably rude and argumentative and told me they only have 1 tech so could not send another out to verify the report and she could not verify what he put in the report. They refused to answer our questions or send the tech out again when we filed for a recheck because the washer still is not working correctly. These people a scammers, dishonest liars and have no respect for customers. I haven't even mentioned that the tech clearly had not bathed in many days, the odor he left in our home after 3 mins lasted hours (I thought the dogs had an accident in the house, until I realized it was from him). DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE under any circumstances!!!!! Clearly AHS has some sort of deal with them to scam their customers based on the other reviews I'm seeing here. We are also canceling our AHS contract and going with another company.Review from Rocky G

What a bad company. AHS sent me this company, the technician name *** came who did not show any interest checking my washer/refrigerater and dishwasher , I never seen such a unprofessional guy in my life, for him every thing was not normal wear and tare, then I ended up reading all the reviews, this company is a scam. I called them three times and left a message but they did not bother to call me back. What a shame. I would never use this company ever again. AHS should not use this kind of company and they should loose their licenseReview from Kathy F

Would rate ***** an F minus. I bought a home warranty from American Home Shield. They sent out **** from Appliance Guard Pro. Refrigerator is at 25 degrees since February. It's **** & still not fixed. They lie & are a total scam. I never reviewed anyone like this before. Truly unethical people who take your money & don't fix the problem.Review from Alisha I

I was assigned this company from American Home Shield and I do *not* recommend them at all.First, they scheduled a date and time and just told us when they would be here (12/30 between 1:30p and 5:30p). I emailed the company at 5:45p stating that no one had showed up yet. At 11:10p I received an email asking how I would rate my service with Appliance Guard Pro.On 1/2 I received an email stating that the appointment had been rescheduled for 1/9 between 1:30p and 5:30p. At 8:52p I emailed saying that no one had shown up again. Around 9:30p the service tech called me saying that he would be there shortly. Once he got here he ran a reset on the dishwasher and checked for a code to which no errors came back and stated that they would be ordering a part for the stove. They scheduled the appointment to install the part on the stove for 1/13 between 4p and 8p. Again, the tech was late, but at least he came. We let him know that the dishwasher had continued to error even after he ran the reset. He informed us that they would be ordering a new control panel. Additionally, the part they ordered and installed is not even centered on the stove top and heats outside of the burner plate. On 3/16 I decided that 2 months was plenty long to order a part so I reached out to see how it was progressing for the part to the dishwasher. I received no response so sent a follow up email on 4/6. I received an email back that stated if I was having issues I had to have replied back in January while the part was still under warranty.A lot of back and forth went on about how we never had a part installed and that the tech told us that they were ordering another part but never put it in the notes apparently. They said we would have to do an entirely new service order but I don't even want to work with them anymore. They stated that they were going to escalate this to a more senior technician. As of 5/3 I still have yet to hear anything from them and have sent another follow up email.Review from Ashlee E

Assigned to Appliance Guard Pro by American Home Shield to service a refrigerator in my tenant unit that was not cooling or freezing. AGP was the THIRD contractor assigned, as 1st contractor diagnosed that the compressor was overheating and failing but was not able to work on "sealed systems" and the 2nd contractor also did not work on "sealed systems". AGP told AHS they would be out within 48 hours. A text was sent after work hours to set the appointment for 4 days later. The tech sent by AGP at that time also did not work on sealed systems and left 5 min after arrival without looking at the refrigerator. AGP took over a week to report back to AHS their "diagnosis" (even though AGP performed no diagnosis) while my tenants were still without a vital appliance. Over a week and a half later, after hours on the phone with both AHS and AGP (through the owners cell phone number as AGP never answers their business phone). On AGP sent a technician that was here for only 15 minutes and left without saying anything other than "****** would be good in 8 hours". I had to track down the owner on his cell phone again - telling me the problem was low in freon, the tech added freon and "fridge would be good in 8 hrs and that I MUST GIVE AGP A 5 STAR REVIEW." I stated that ***** wasn't the problem the compressor was as diagnosed 2 weeks ago but the first company and they needed to come back out." He refused saying would be good in 8 hours". 16 hours later, still no cooling or heating recall appointment sent again by text after hours for over a week later. Will not answer phone or texts or inquiries by AHS. I am not out the Home Warranty Fee, the Service Fee and Have to buy a new fridge and have it delivered as tenants could not wait any longer. AGP refuses to release the ticket such that another vendor could be provided.
