Beware of bait and switch! Capital Local quoted me a base price of $125 per chimney for my two chimneys. When the technicians arrived they said the upstairs chimney was extra dirty so it would cost $450, and the downstairs would be $250 because of the type of chimney. I thought maybe it would take a while to clean the "extra dirty" chimney, but they were in and out of the house in an hour including the time it took to discuss the estimates. So my quote of $250 over the phone went up to $700 ($870 with tax) once the technicians arrived. Giving two stars because the chimneys are clean and the technicians were nice.Review from Ken B

Capital local services has inspected fireplaces at two sites for me. In both cases, the team arrived on time (even a bit ahead of schedule). The experts were polite and friendly, making sure that my house was protected by laying drop cloths at the front door, through to the fireplace, and wearing shoe coverings. They explained what they were doing throughout the process. They were efficient and wrapped ** in an hour.Review from Linda T

OMG! I scheduled a cleaning based on their reminder and prior service, paid a deposit and when the staff came and inspected, he said "you really don't need this done yet." They charged me only for an inspection and refunded the majority of my deposit.Talk about credibility! I recommend them for sure.Review from Henya M

I had a very positive experience with Capital Local Services. Booking was quick and easy. The technician seemed very experienced and he found a solution to our chimney issue that he was able to correct the very same day. We had a heavy creosote buildup that had probably been there for years, and with a deep cleaning, he really got our chimney sparkling clean! He showed me before and after pictures, I will try to post them as well. He was quick and kept our home tidy. I would definitely work with Capital Local Services again!Review from David G

The process from start to finish was very professional. Always called in advance to confirm appointments. Installed new chimney crown, cap and damper. Also cleaned chimney and inspection. Cleaned up afterwards and no mess. I would highly recommend for my next project. I now have a fully working fireplace
