    I've spoken with customer service 3 times regarding 2 weeks of missed trash collection that was suppose to be picked up. I was offered for the extra trash to be picked up at no cost and for a credit on my account. Its now been 3 weeks and I see a credit and an extra trash charge on my bill. I still have recycling and yard waste containers in my front yard even though I cancelled service 3 weeks ago.I will not be paying bills until they are corrected and my canisters are picked up. I am no longer doing business with Recology since they were unable to correct the poor service.

    We signed up for dumpster service once a week for our restaurant for a hefty $278.83 for 1-yard dumpster. Since the service started over ************************************** be unwilling to pick up our trash every month. When we called to ask for the driver to come back to pick up, they promised to refund the money but never received any compensation. On September 2024, they missed our trash for 2 consecutive weeks causing trash to pile up and we got complaints from our landlord, the landlord ended up calling the junk removal and sent us the invoice. Calling to report the issues and they end up adding an extra $40.50 to our monthly bill. When we call them for a complaint, they ask to forward the email from the landlord and photos showing trash piling up but till now no response whatsoever from Recology or any credit given.

    Recologys policy requires that all styrofoam materials be disposed of by sealing in a clear plastic bag and calling Recology to schedule a special pick up. I called to request this pick up on August 1st and was instructed to set the bag out for pick up on the 5th. It is now August 27th and the bag continues to sit at the curb. I have called DAILY for the past two weeks, and each time, I have been told that the issue has been escalated to a supervisor and/or that the bag was on the schedule to be picked up that day, so I should leave it at the curb. I have asked DAILY for a return call from a supervisor but this has never happened. This seems like a ridiculous and ***** issue to have to deal with, but here we are. Im not sure how else to get a resolution other than to get the BBB involved.

    I received my latest billing statement and noticed that while a credit has been applied, it appears incorrect.The credit for the 96-gallon service was applied for the period from 05/22/2024 to 06/30/2024. However, I havent used a 96-gallon bin since moving in on 04/23/2024. When I initiated service with Recology on 04/30/2024, I clearly requested 32-gallon service, as that was the bin size the previous homeowner used.Despite this, my first paper billing on 05/19/2024 showed that Recology charged me for 96-gallon service from 04/30/2024 to 06/30/2024. This is unacceptable, as I specifically requested the 32-gallon service, and the 96-gallon service was never used. I had no way of knowing that the phone agent initialized the wrong service96 gallons instead of 32 (requested)until I received this first paper notice.Since 05/19/2024, I have called and emailed Recology over 20 times to address this issue, yet it remains unresolved. This is extremely frustrating, and I am disappointed that such a simple mistake is still unresolved.Also, Recology should have records of what service Ive been using. I requested 32-gallon service because I used the 32-gallon bins the previous owner left. I never requested larger bins from Recology, and I believe Recology has no record of delivering 96-gallon bins to my address. So why was I charged for 96-gallon service for the first month, from 04/30/2024 to 05/21/2024, for bins I never used? There is no valid reason for this!Given these circumstances, the credit for the 96-gallon service should be adjusted to cover the entire period from 04/30/2024 to 06/30/2024, not just from 05/22/2024. I should not be charged for the 96-gallon service from 04/30/2024 to 05/21/2024, as this error was due to the initial setup by your agent, and I have never had 96-gallon bins or used the 96g service.I expect an immediate correction to this mistake, including a refund for the overcharged amount. Please correct my billing as soon as possible.

    I have been having problems with my garbage billing since April. The billing mistakes keep accruing every month with no resolution to my phone and email complaints. Im being charged for a trash service at not the right price and they keep randomly taking my trash cans without any notification. I have tried to get this resolution since April through 3 different customer service representatives (*******, ***, ******) but to this date of August 13th, the billing and service problem is still lingering. I cant cancel the service because its the only trash contract in my townhouse community and have no way of getting these multiple problems resolved. I errors and miscommunication between departments of Recology Issaquah is not professional and needs to be heard. Im currently being charged for 11 days of service that I didnt have a trash or recycling can due to a random pickup without notice or remorse and currently being charged for the wrong size garbage can. I have a 10 gallon can that Im being charged for a 20 gallon since April. Finally, I have been getting random extra pickup charges that are incorrect and they have no documentation of why the extra charge. This company has a serious problem with customer service, billing, and communication between departments. Very unsatisfied customer that needs this service due to community monopoly

    Recology did a poorly orchestrated takeover for WM back in November. I vacated the property they're billing for November 18th, and had to run all my remaining trash myself. No services were rendered by Recology while I was occupying the property. I was unaware of the change until after it occured, and my trash hadn't been picked up for several weeks. I received no phone calls, mail, or any form of communication about this transfer to Recology. I have been billed every single month for a property I do not occupy. It took me over two months to get in touch with someone who actually works for Recology, and I have requested proof of services rendered for the property but have not been provided any, just more bills. I will not be paying a dime to this company unless they provide timestamped photos of the trucks at my previous property, proving they actually picked up trash at the property. This isn't a difficult request, but it's an issue that's been going on for over six months.

    We have damaged garbage cans (two) that need replacing at our rental properties at this location. We have gotten replacement cans from them in the past? We have requested replacement cans for about 11 weeks now via phone calls and emails - each and every week.The garbage is not being picked up always because of the defective cans (with holes in them)We are willing to pay for replacement garbage cans. Each week they say it is scheduled for replacement , and each week they do not replace the cans? This has been going on for 11 weeks now. The response I get from them is that they are out of garbage cans ? Or there were no more on the truck? I am out of options and we have to take our own garbage to ********* transfer stations when they don't pick it up. No sure what else to do at this point? Please help with this problem.

    For some reason, the garbage collection truck took my garbage bin during last weeks (2/8/24) pickup. I requested a replacement bin but havent received it yet and was told it can take weeks to receive a new one. For this weeks pickup (2/15/24), I put my trash outside with a note that I am waiting on my replacement bin and asking them to take the bags. ******* collection did not pick them up, and instead left them on the street in the rain. It will potentially take weeks for me to get a replacement garbage bin. Am I going to have to pile up weeks worth of garbage until the city replaces my garbage bin (that they took in the first place)? I have nowhere to leave the bags except outside, where animals can potentially get into them.

    I am getting charged for services I did not have. I closed my account effective November *********************************** for services I did not have December 2023 when the company failed to pick up my trash bins after several emails on my end asking them to pick it up. I also left the bins empty I have time stamped and date stamped pictures of the empty bins and they are trying to blame me for this company failing to pick up the bins in a timely manner and after several requests to close the account I do not appreciate the poor service I haven't from this company. I would like them to remove the charges on my account for December 2023 when I was not even at this residence and the bins should have been picked up they failed to pick up the bins when I requested this many times.
