Please find attached our design agreement for *************************,which is our signed Design contract with this client.  We have also included the final statement for the ******* which shows what was invoiced, paid and the deposit taken and applied.  Per our contract, we have completed this phase of the project, and billed accordingly.  There is a small balance due.

Subcontractors visited the ******* home on April 16th.  Our Project Manager was onsite overseeing the sub-contractors while they were in the home. The subcontractor visit was in the interest of reviewing the scope of the project and providing a bid for work. Those bids were provided to Potter Construction, and incorporated into the specifications provided to the client on May 6th, 2024 during a meeting in their home with **** Potter and *******************************.  At that time, we did not enter into a construction contract agreement with *************************.  ****************** requested changes to our contract agreement, which we declined.

We consider this job closed, and all contractual obligations completed and delivered to the client.

I am rejecting this response because:

Business failed to respond to my complaint. As originally stated, business failed to negotiate in good faith. It is unreasonable to state that you refuse to "obey the law and building regulations" as part of a contract. Such a refusal implies that the business never intended to complete the contract in the first place (after taking my money for the design phase). But I think their hearts are in the right place I really enjoyed our interactions on a personal level.

    Sincerely,

    *************************
