On 10/27/2024, I received an email from U-Park, claiming that I parked in one of their lots without payment on 1/23/2023. They attached one photograph of my car in the notice of violation on their lot located ******************************************************I live in a building with a parking lot on this alley, and I pay for a parking there. I drive through this alley daily . Many cars, garbage trucks, and other vehicles frequently use this alley. On the day in question, I entered the alley from the north, and I had to pull off to allow another vehicle to pass. Once the vehicle passed, I continued driving. To pull off to the side, I was on the U-Park lot . The parking lot attendant took a photo of my car during this moment and claimed that I had parked without payment. 1. The photo that U-Park provided in the notice shows the driver of the car (me) inside the car at the time. 2. The photograph in the notice deliberately does not show the alley to the left, where the passing vehicle would be visible. 3. I would not park in this parking lot, because I pay for a parking space in a building in the same alley. 4. No other photo were taken or included within the notice, because I was only there for a brief moment, and because no ticket was issued and placed on the car. 5. I received no notification of a claimed violation until 22 months later. 6. I responded to the email when it, stating that I had not parked in the lot, and I received no response from U-Park. 7. On 1/6/2025, I received a letter threatening to send the issue to a collections agency if payment was not made within 10 days. 8. I emailed the company reiterating the facts; however, they ignored the facts and said they would not waive the ticket. I did not park in the **********. This company's dishonest and predatory practices should not be allowed. I would like U-Park to immediately waive the illegitimate ticket, or reimburse me for the amount if I am compelled by to pay the ticket by a collections agency.

I received a parking bill for an alleged violation more than 18-months in the past. I disputed the transaction as there is no way I am paying a bill with a penalty that is more than 30-days old. U-PARK has provide no documentation regarding the alleged violation other than a grainy picture. Again there is no explanation, no copy of the original ticket, and no supporting evidence. I disputed the payment and was denied with no further opportunity to discuss. Now they wish to turn it over to a collection agency.. I decline to pay without a certified copy of the parking ticket. For all I know, their employee took a random picture 18-months ago and filed it in the system.

I am a disabled person and I parked at a Disabled parking spot in front of my bank. On the other side was paid parking from U-Park System. I was in the bank and also used the bathroom ( I am disabled, so using the bathroom takes longer then a normal person) when I came outside to leave, U-Park System placed a ticket on my vehicle and is trying to charge me $35.00 for a violation of UNATHORIZED VEHICLE. I reached out to U-Park System by email and explained that I was in the bank and that my disabled parking spot was in front of the bank, while I was in the bank and they responded back that the bank was checked before issuing the parking violation and that I would need to speak with someone in the bank to try and clear this issue up. I called the bank and asked if someone from U-Park Systems had came inside and asked anyone who's car it was (was told that nobody came in and verified) and asked to have someone from the bank reach out to U-Park Systems and was told that they do not get involved and redirected me back to U-Park Systems. I parked at a disabled parking spot to go to my bank and could not believe that I would get a citation. I have tried to resolve this issue with U-Park Systems, but they will not cancel this violation. U-Park Systems had no right to issue me a parking violation.

I have been waiting for a response back from the BBB in regards to this matter. I have also reached out to the bank to confirm if anyone from UPark employee had verified that I was in the bank and nobody from the bank said that anyone did. I had no other choice but to pay this ticket so that I don't go to collections.

I Have also reached out to my local DMV and they told me that this is an issue with this company, but that they should not have ticketed me for parking correctly in a handicap parking spot as I am disabled.

Please respond back at your earliest convenience as other people at the bank have also complained about this company as well.

    Thank you,

I had to pay the ticket for parking in a handicap parking spot that was outside a bank and I was ticked for $35 even though I was in the bank and nobody from the agency that ticked me every checked the bank for me. I have been patiently Wai for a response back from the BBB. Please let me know if this company is still being investigated as I have not heard back from you.

    Thank you,

I parked in the UPark lot at ************************ in downtown ******* on January 26th, 2023. The payment station included a taped-on sign stating it was broken, and instructed me to use the payment code to pay. I used the only functioning payment code in the parking lot, paying for a full business day's parking at 9:17am. At 10:19am, I received a $35 parking ticket, When I contacted UPark, they refused to accept my payment receipt, and insisted that I pay the fine. I have paid the fine, but in the interest of UPark not scamming others, I am submitting a complaint to the ***

On Jan 12, 2023, I parked at the Upark parking lot at ****************************************, next to ********************** with ALL DAY parking payment. However, all day ends at 5 PM and I got a ticket for $35 at 6 PM. First, it is misleading to call it ALL DAY and next $35 fine is very hefty for one hour over parking. A friend of mine got two $35 fines for the same car at the same spot. Upark mislead with wrong signs and charg excessive fines. It is unfair. I have paid the fine due to your scare tactics of reporting to collection agencies.
