Project started great and everyone was very friendly. Toward the end of the project I found things that were damaged in my home and a number of items that Exo Electric failed to complete. As soon as I mentioned these items, their attitudes shifted instantly and then werent so friendly. I hired them to remove all of the dangerous k*** and tube wiring, replace the panel inside, swap all switches & outlets and replace the box and mast outside. The k*** and tube wiring is still in my house, they installed light switches crooked, did not swap every outlet like they said they would, left a major outlet in the kitchen dead-no power to that outlet still to this day, installed that outside box cooked and not flush to the house, the mast is touching my new roof done a few weeks ago and bending shingles, the box inside is not installed properly and does not latch shut. They said they were going to bring a label maker to make the box nice but instead wrote everything by hand and not clearly, quite sloppy actually. They attempted to charge me an exorbitant amount amount for additional work to remedy these issues and I said no. They went on to say that they were not coming back and that the job is marked as complete. This. Reach of contract on their part has caused multiple issues with other projects including the roof, siding and gutters. **************** from this company was horrendous and they are anything but professional. The ************************ was extremely unprofessional on our 1 call, using profanity and not allowing me to speak. He went on a rant and essentially told me how it is. This company is run by sleazy sleazy sales people, I was clearly just a number to this company and they do not care about helping their customers, just lining their bank accounts with dirty money. Im seeking a refund from this company for the items mentioned above. It will cost roughly $2k between getting the electrical issues resolved and making repairs to the siding, roof and gutters.Business response

Thank you for reaching out to me. I am the General Manager at Eco Electric and Plumbing that ***** was referring to. Below is my statement regarding his review of our company:
We find this client complaint completely out of touch with the actual situation.
We returned to his project to address multiple concerns that were either related or unrelated to the original installation of our work. This customer continually tried to have us perform work outside of the original scope for free. We performed free troubleshooting of wiring that we did not have any contact with, and installed additional lighting and switching that was not included in our scope of work. The accusation that we damaged his roof is ludicrous. You can clearly see in the photos he has posted that the conduit barely touched a roofing tile there was no roof damage. We also moved the conduit from touching the roof, which he does not show in any of his photos.
***** talked about having high-powered weapons and the desire to use them. He encroached on our technicians personal space multiple times. Lastly, he constantly spoke negatively towards our team. For example, he used vulgar language when speaking to our call center representatives and Service Manager. All of these actions made us feel very unsafe/uncomfortable. Because of that, we told ***** that we would not return to his home for any future projects.
All of our contracted work is complete. The only item that does not work is a circuit that was damaged by another contractor he hired to install the siding on his house - completely unrelated to our scope of work.

I am rejecting this response because:
Ive been out of the country and wasnt able to respond in time. This ***************************** is a liar and master manipulator. His attempts at misdirecting these issues by saying that I spoke about high powered weapons are childish and highly unprofessional. Theres a goat skull on my wall that I hunted a few years. The guys asked about it and I told them that I bow ****. Hardly the high powered weapon that **** mentioned. Also, what does that have to do with anything electric project related?? This guy is a classic sleazy salesman. He has made multiple defamatory statements about me, threatened me multiple times crossing many lines professionally and personally. Hes a menace and a snake and should be shut down for unsavory business practices. He tried charging me for services beyond the scope of work, not rendered and I have emails proving it.
The free work that he mentioned in his message to you was a barter between me and a member of his crew by the name of ******. ****** mentioned really liking the ********* light in my kitchen. I said I wanted it gone and we made a deal to remove the light and replace a couple of other lights as an even trade. Beyond that, yes, I absolutely tried to get a better deal than their first offers. They are a company that starts the bid high to see if you bite and then lower when you say its too expensive.
They had to return to my home multiple times because they couldnt get things right the first, second or third time. Yes, I was angry and expressed myself accordingly but never used vulgar language. If Im paying $15 and Im not getting what I paid for, the company is going to hear from me. Im pretty sure that hows things work. Its the companies job to make sure Im happy and satisfied and if they say theyre going to do something and Im paying for it, they are going to do it, period.
Ive had other electric companies out to confirm that the issues that Im having are not related to the work done by my siding contractor. They located the issue and it was on the other side of the house on a totally different circuit. **** is out of touch with reality since he sits behind a desk and is not in the field. His statements are false and hes simply trying to slime his way out of another botched project due to their lousy customer service and inability to compete the job.
The accusation that they damaged my roof is 100% fact and the pictures prove it. My roofer that did the work confirmed the damage so ***** statement is an outright lie. All **** has done is say that there is no damage. All he has seen is pictures that his guys took after pulling the pole back for a moment, hes never been onsiteagain, this guy is out of touch with reality and his crew follows his slimy lead to try to cover their messy tracks.
They scheduled a turn off with the city to come out to tear down and replace the mast touching my roof. They acknowledged the issue and were going to fix it. When their last guy came to troubleshoot the lastest issues with outlets in the kitchen not working, he confirmed that the issues werent related and that hed need to chase down the loose connection. I get a call just a few minutes later from the service manager and he says that the issues are related and that I need to pay an additional $750. I said no and explained the situation again. He brought up scope of work and said that they did everything they were supposed to do. My response to that was that theres still k*** and tube wiring in my home and thats the reason I hired and paid them $15,000to remove that dangerous fire hazard wiring. He said that hes done talking to me and that **** would reach out to me. He went on to say that they would be cancelling the shut off with the city that was scheduled literally the next day. I waited almost a month for this day and they cancelled the day before, theyre such crooks! **** reached out to me later that day and very aggressively told me that they were walking off my project and demanded payment, threatened to take out a restraining order and threatened to put a lien on my home. I was appalled at the way he spoke to a customer who just paid him $15k.
I happy to provide my proof and documentation to resolve this matter and prove the dishonest nature of this company. They need to be stopped and everyone in need of electrical service needs to know how they operate and how they fall short in so many ways.
