    I requested a service from this company, for them to serve someone for a court day I had. In their website it says they try multiple times a week to serve the document papers. This company is a scam and I found out after 3 days and 2 attempts. They attempted twice in 3 days and first said they knocked on the door and no one answers and then they went back and retracted what they said and changed it to someone answered but they said they were not the person they were looking for and that they don't have no knowledge of that person. They then said they spoke to a neighbor and they said they knew no one with that name to be a resident. They than notified me that they tried serving the papers and that the address I gave them is incorrect because a neighbor said so. They then asked if I had a picture of the person being served or a picture of a vehicle they have. At the beginning of the whole process I sent them a picture of the person being served. They did no diligent work and did the minimal to do their job. They then said I would have to add a new address to continue and pay again to continue service. They did no follow their own process of trying multiple times and asking for things that I provided at the beginning of this request to verify anything. After this happen I looked up this business on ****** and found a lot of bad reviews of people complaining about some of the same experiences they had with this company. I asked for a refund and they said they did diligent work and tried to serve the person. They did not do diligent work and are scamming people out there money.

    **Please Note**I substituted the defendants name as **** ***. In addition, I didn't want to reveal his home address so I used ******************I demand a full refund of $85 for the poor service I received from *** Legal.The Process Server tried to deliver a citation to an address in *****************, *****, four times between November 26 and December 6, 2024. Here are the messages from the *** Legal portal:* - First attempt: Impassable road.* - Second attempt: No answer. Neighbor doesnt recognize the name.* - Third attempt: Impassable road.* - Fourth attempt: No answer. Neighbor doesnt recognize the name.On December 6, 2024, I asked customer service for a new Process Server. *** Legal replied, We can definitely get this assigned to another process server if you wish.The next day, the same *** Legal *** said they tried to reassign the job but the primary server was the one in the area. They reached out to him for clarification.On December 7, 2024, a new message on the *** Legal portal said the current address was [**********************], which is bad.The Process Server attached three photos: a black one, a blue one, and a picture of a house with a maroon pickup truck similar to the landlords truck.The first two photos were blank, but the last one was helpful.On December 8, 2024, I canceled the order and received a signed proof of non-service.On December 13, 2024, I paid The Montgomery County Constables office to have the citation delivered to the same address as *** Legal. A Montgomery County Constable served the citation on their firs attempt.I found negative reviews online that shared common experiences.

    They contacted me sister and gave her information regarding a lawsuit from ********************. I've never heard of that company. I have never been associated with this email account my sister uses, who lives in a different city. They must if found she was related to me and saw her email address online and sent it. It was against the ***** rules and is illegal and has caused me a lot of hardship. I have retained a attorney to take care of this matter and to notify the Government of their illegal activity that has caused me trauma.

    To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a formal complaint against ABC Legal, a company whose negligence and misrepresentation have caused significant financial and reputational damages to my business, along with severe emotional distress.Details of the Issue:I hired ABC Legal to handle the service of legal documents in a case against *******************. (********). Unfortunately, they made critical errors during the process, including:1. Incorrectly naming the plaintiff and defendant as the same party in the documents.2. Failing to properly serve the corrected documents to the defendant or provide proof of service, despite assurances that this would be done.3. Not notifying me about these issues until after a court hearing, leaving me unprepared and in a compromised position.Consequences of ABC Legals Actions:These errors and lack of communication resulted in:Significant financial losses: Estimated at $530,000 due to business interruptions, lost opportunities, and additional legal expenses.Reputational harm: Our credibility as a business has been damaged by delays in the legal process.Emotional distress: The stress caused by this situation has led to severe health problems for our companys director, including hospitalization and substantial medical expenses Request for Action:I am requesting that BBB investigate ABC Legal for negligence, misrepresentation, and lack of adequate customer service.     On October 17th, 2024 I paid ABC Legal $85 dollars to deliver a summons to a defendant. The process server returned the affidavit as served, however, this was not the case. The defense attorney responded three weeks later stating that the person who received the summons doesnt know the defendant. The process server is supposed to ensure the person they are handing over the summons is able to accept on the defendant's behalf. Apparently, this was not done. I gave them two opportunities and they failed twice. So, I am asking for a refund once again for the money I spent and for the time I lost in serving the defendant. I can not get that time back and this has caused me to run out of time to properly serve the defendant.

    I signed up for ABC Legal to process serve a Protection Order for my daughter against my ex-stepfather for sexual harassment and stalking!! Attached is my ******************* email that shows the description. I also received an email to sign up for an account to "track" my service, the day was a Friday and that day I was able to log in and see the order was "Pending" for "Review". With the very next few days all attempts to contact ABC Legal have not been successful. I try to login and the internet says there is no account found? How dare whoever is behind ABC Legal for taking advantage of people victimized, you are re-victimizing people looking for assistance in serious maters!

    Gross incompetence. 5 entities could not fill out proper proofs of service so they could be defaulted. After at least 4 reservice attempts, and 5 different proofs issued for each entity, the court still rejected it and their so called compliance department is so incompetent they can't or don't want to address the basis of the court's rejection for over 90 days. How difficult can it be to serve a few entities and fill out proofs that are accurate under the law for substituted service? Clearly its been an impossible task.

    On October 16, I submitted critical legal documents to ABC Legal Services with the expectation that they would be processed and served promptly, as I paid for the service. However, I was informed that the papers were only mailed out on November 7, far beyond the promised timeline. My court case, scheduled for November 13, is now at risk of being delayed due to this failure.The process server also misled me, claiming the papers were mailed out on October 24 and providing an invalid tracking number. It wasnt until November 7 that the documents were actually sent to the petitioner. This significant delay has jeopardized my legal proceedings, and I now face a possible delay in my ******* addition to the legal delay, I am entitled to back child support, which I have been unable to collect due to the delay in serving the papers. Since I filed the documents in January, I am owed $770 per month in child support, which totals $6,930 from January through October. This failure on the part of ABC Legal has directly resulted in financial hardship for me.Resolution Sought:I am seeking the following:A written explanation from ABC Legal regarding the reasons for the delay, the false information provided, and the invalid tracking number.Compensation for any court-related fees, legal costs, and the financial losses incurred due to the delay, including the $6,930 in missed child support payments.A formal assurance from ABC Legal that corrective actions have been taken to prevent such negligence in the future.This is not the first time ABC Legal has failed to meet their obligations, and I am concerned that other clients may be facing similar issues. I trust the BBB will assist in holding ABC Legal accountable for their actions and ensuring this matter is properly addressed.Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

    I hired the company to serve legal process on an individual. It appears that their employee did not do so and then despite the failure, a false affidavit in a legal proceeding. This has created a problem for me in the legal case and is a serious matter. Unfortunately, instead of making themselves available to me by email to explain what theyre doing about it, they have a very rigid system where they expect me to call them constantly for updates The customer service representative was rigid and unhelpful This is a serious matter and requires proper attention by a proper legal representative for the company
