I have 2 micro inventors that have not been working properly. Last year I was told that I had to wait 6-9 months for replacement. Each time I emailed with my problem my case was "closed" without the issue being resolved. I was told in June that I had to wait longer. I June we discovered that another invertor was out. I have been contacted the company on a weekly basis since 7/3/24 each time I am told that they are doing inventory that it would be 10 days. as of today they still are waiting to have them shipped out. My warranty is up in November. I believe this is a stall tactic so they don't have to replace them. When I call the company I am not given a definite address to send a letter from my attorney. My attorney is researching where to file a suit against this company. I have been working with the BBB in ***** because on the website this shows the office is in ***** but I have this listed address on my paperwork for the warranty. Can you please help me. I am getting no where with this company.

I had a solar system installed in 2018, including APsystems inverters and a 25 year warranty. The system was purchased from a company that went out of business, who (fortunately) contracted with a qualified and qualified local installer to install the system. I recently noticed that a cluster of six panels is not producing, indicating an inverter failure. On May 17, 2023 I sought to contact the company, finding that the phone number is useless for a system owner or installer, and that the only way to contact them is through email. I emailed them, inquiring as to how to initiate a claim. I receive a response on the following day saying that a ticket has been opened and that further communication would most likely be conducted through the installer. And also referred to the same phone number as a resource to reach out to in the event they need questions about your issue. I contacted the installer to explain that they should be receiving contact from APsystems. Since then, I nor the installer have heard from or been able to communicate with APsystems. Meanwhile, I lose production daily, having no idea on how to use my warranty and who to talk to about it. The other complaints would indicate that it will most likely not be rectified soon. A large part of my purchase decision was based on the promise of a 25-year warranty. It's bad enough that I will need to pay for the labor to replace their faulty product, but now I need to lose money daily while I wait for them to get around to doing anything about it. I need to be contacted, replacement parts need to be sent to the installer, and it should be done quickly. Uncertain that they received their money promptly when the materials were purchased from them, I would expect them to promptly honor their promise to back their product.

Sold installer equipment and will not respond to new case emails. We did everything they told us to do to fix customer connection issues. Then they replaced the *** 3 Times. At this point the customers system isnt reporting after a year and they wont reimburse the equipment so we can replace with something else that works. Customer cannot receive any state rebates ************* promised because reporting doesnt work as manufacturer promises.

Please be aware that this Tes Solar you mentioned is not an APsystems vendor. They are technically your vendor as APsystems does not have an installation arm of our company, we are simply the manufacturer and homeowners are able to choose their own solar installer. If your request was made to your installer, Tes Solar, understand that APsystems does not manage or control how quickly they work or respond to their customers. In fact, I believe Tes is out of business. If Tes submitted an RMA request on your behalf in an untimely manner, that does not reflect on APsystems. APsystems typically reviews and responds to RMA requests within 24 to ******************************************** less than a week. Any delay would likely have been on the part of your solar installer.

For RMA replacement, you will want to find another local solar installer who is active and will respond to your needs in a timely manner. They should have an electrical contractor's license and experience with installing and troubleshooting solar arrays. We can send you some options for your area, but, again, whichever installer you choose is up to you and not a reflection on the business conducted by APsystems.

I am rejecting this response because:

Tes is not my installer, they came to my house & they represented to me as a authorize seller &  installer for AP system, they did everything on my roof for AP systems, they said AP systems will provide 25 years warranty for solar cell panels. I don't know who they are who is AP systems,

    Sincerely,

************ doesn't realize that his warranty is with the manufacturer not us. He needs to call the manufacturer.

The documentation the consumer provided is confusing. One document was the APsystems microinverter product warranty which I can speak to. The consumer also included warranty documentation that does not relate to our product, but belongs to Peimar, apparently an *************** which I will not address. APsystems stands by its warranty and, very much like air conditioning and furnace manufacturers, requires skilled professionals to do their work installing their products. If any issues arise, the homeowner must first contact the party that installed the equipment. This is not the manufacturer, nor is the installing party chosen by the manufacturer.  This installing contractor is responsible for the quality of work for installing the product and when any issues arise they are the front line for troubleshooting and addressing any issues. If this installing contractor is not helpful or not doing their job properly, system owners can find another contractor who can address their issues. We work with systems owners often whose original installer is not responsive or no longer in business and the system owners select a new contactor to support their system and we work with them. We will work with whoever you choose to address your system issues, so long as they are a licensed contractor approved to do electrical PV work. Your contractor will work with our technical team to determine the cause of your system issue and if a replacement is determined necessary they will approve it for replacement. This process may require your contractor to check electrical connections on your roof which is why it is important for them to be licensed and approved for electrical PV work.
