Thank you for advising HomeVestors of America,Inc. ("HVA") to Ms. ******** concerns.
This is the first time HVA has been informed of Ms.******** frustration with our franchisees' direct mail letters and purported contacts.  HVA carefully considers any complaint it receives with respect to its independently owned and operated franchisees.  HVA, as a national franchise system, requires its franchisees to operate their independent businesses not only in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, but also certain national operating standards.
To help resolve this complaint, we searched our database for contacts with ******************. Her name, address, and telephone number are not in our company database. This means she is not a recorded contact for any of our franchisees. Nonetheless, we have instructed the ************************** to not contact him.
In addition, we have taken the necessary steps to have the mail center remove Ms. ******** address from its mailing list and will make every effort to help ensure that future letters are not mailed to her.   However, should our franchisees in this specific ************************** have a monthly direct mail campaign currently in process and if her address is among those addresses about to receive another mailing, she may receive an additional letter.  In the event that she does, please keep in mind that this is not a refusal on their part to recognize her request to be removed from our mailing list but merely a timing issue.
HVA, as a franchise system, has a strong national image and professional reputation which it is careful to maintain and protect.  Our independently owned and operated franchises have purchased more than ******* houses since 1996 and strive to help improve their communities one house at a time.

Home Vestors keeps sending me cards to sell my home from ********************************* . Im not interested in selling my home and need this to stop . I keep seeing reply comments from this company saying the people filing a complaint are not in their system. Then this company as a whole should be investigated by the BBB SEC and the like . Due to so many people having the same complaint from different parts of the state and country. These are the same cards everyone gets. Seems like a scam to me if thats their only reply. Stop sending me along with everyone else cards! My home is not for sale

I repeatedly get unwanted solicitation from HomeVestors (Address listed as ************************************************************) wanting to purchase my home. The most recent mailer has a name of ************************* on it, but I get them at least monthly, and sometimes even more than that. I have tried opting out- the website provided: www.mail-remove.com/hv is non existent and the phone number: ************ askes for name and address, but then states that if you leave anything other than the address then you will not be moved to the "opt out".....and either way, it doesn't work. I have even sent their mailers back with "Return to Sender" on it, but it is at this point it is clearly harassment. I had better not start receiving calls from them since I had to provide my phone number for this report!

On 08/09/2023, we received yet another unsolicited mailing from HomeVestors to purchase our home. Attempts to opt out of future mailings are ineffective due to a nonexistent opt out website. Furthermore, the return address on the postcard is a "dropbox" **** Store). A contact number internet search yields no results. "*************************" appears on LinkedIn via various HomeVestors' profiles with very minimal information, limited to basic geographical locations...one in ***, **, the other in *********, **. We want HomeVestors, Wiley ******************** LLC, We Buy Ugly Houses, *********************, et al, to cease ALL requests to purchase our home.
