  I hired **** ******************** to come do some tree work. He quoted me a price of $1700 to do some trimming on one side of my yard and fall some trees on the other. He stated he would give me a good price. I was freshly out of an abusive relationship and relied on him being truthful and having integrity. I found that to be untrue, and at the time didn't know what on earth to ****** that it is greatly effecting me I realize I need to take this step and file a complaint. My neighbor, on the side where I wanted trees to come down, said she would only agree to it if the stumps came out too. I stated this info to Mr. ******************** and he agreed to it.He trimmed the trees (without telling me the branches would just come back even thicker, which they did) on one side. And fell the trees on the other. The fallen trees were Chinese Elms. They produce thousands of seeds and root themselves in the ground easy. They are a ton of work, especially for not even being in my yard. I was so done with them. He agreed to making sure the stumps were gone and proceeded to schedule a time to start. He got done and gave me a total of 2754. He also told me he would not remove the stumps. I reminded him that was one of the reasons my neighbor agreed to this and he got really weird. Said she needs to be grateful for the work I paid for that she didn't have to and stated he hopes "God spanks her" because of her ungratefulness. At that point I just wanted him off my property. I also had no clue how what to even say to that?! I paid him more than we agreed to in order to get him off my property asap. I should not have done that, but he should not have taken advantage of me being a single woman with no man to back me up. Recently I noticed more Chinese Elms growing on the fence line! I paid $12,000 for a new fence and because he wouldn't remove the stumps he agreed to I am still having to deal with this issue. I need him to finish the job and pay me back 1000 for the overcharge.

  There are two stages to this job.
  The neighbors Poplar trees on east side of property were encroaching on my customers house. I charged 300 each to remove lower branches. Yes, the tree has rebounded with alot of new growth. I have offer to help her fight this battle; but she has refused my offer. I would have been will to do this for 500, or less if could.
  
  On the west side of property there were four medium sized Elm trees which were beginning to encroach on her house or would eventually be a very big problem. I originally bid this side at 2400. I also gave a bid to just prune them back of 1800.
  The neighbor did give permission, but would not share cost and they were requiring the stumps to be ground. So in order to help her do what was best to solve the problem, I did the removal for the pruning cost.
  By the time i had the trees down and cleaned up , I did not feel like doing probably 600 dollars worth of ***** removal work also for the neighbor who was unwilling to share any cost. I probably did say the things I'm accused of saying. I did go back about a week ago to deal with the sucker problem on this west side. I found only two suckers. One was fairly significant, growing up between the two fence lines.  I removed it, I am willing to make sure it doesn't regrow. The neighbor should consider doing a weed spray between the two fences that run parallel to each other now. There were 3 Poplar trees on the east side which made a total of 900 for the east side.
