I had my 2014 Ford Flex towed to this shop for a simple starter replacement. Upon leaving the shop as my vehicle is allegedly being repaired i received a call from the shop manager ****** in which he states "I'm unable to turn on the ignition and put the car into neutral in order push it onto the ramp, what's TRICK to shift the vehicle into gear?" Thinking to myself "Trick?? There's no trick, it's a very simple simple that any component experienced mechanic or shop would know. Allow me to explain. There's a push button start on my vehicle. The battery in my key fob is dead. The car isn't acknowledging the key for. To solve this problem can manufacturers designate and area inside the vehicle where the key fob can be placed in order to start the vehicle in case the key fob battery dies. That's smart, that's common sense considering the fact that batteries of all sorts eventually drains out and/or dies. In my vehicle the location is in my armrest, I've had a STS Cadillac location armrest. Mustang, location Buckys didn't realize the reason the ignition wouldn't turn on and decided to force my vehicle into gear to allegedly position onto a ramp in order to lift a vehicle that doesn't require lifting to replace a starter. When I picked up my vehicle I started it up and instantly had major issues that wasn't present before taken to the shop. The shifter was hard to shift into reverse, in the drive position the car was actually in neutral, I had to shift with force in order to put the vehicle in park. I asked ****** what did they do to my vehicle, he explained the vehicle was in such condition caused by the tow truck driver or me. First of all I know not to force a vehicle's shifter while the ignition is off. Second all the tow driver had enough common sense to asked me upon realizing he's unable to shift into neutral. I showed and explained to him the procedure and he instantly understood. Don't waste your money and more importantly, don't waste your time!!Review from KIM N

I need to have an oxygen sensor replaced for my ***** Civic. Bucky's Shoreline quoted me a ***** Brand Name Original part for $508.06, saying "***** parts are expensive and after-market parts do not work." They also charged one hour of labor $160/hour, shop supplies 5%, tax 10.4%, total bill $774.41. I paid the total bill with my Mastercard on 6/24/2024.Two days later I asked AutoZone to look up part as stated in the invoice given to me by Bucky's and found out this part is Denso OE with the price of $191.99, a difference of $316.07. When I came in and shared this information with the Service Advisor, this guy got very defensive, very mad, his face was all red and he threatened to get the man at AutoZone fired and said unpleasant things to me. He blamed the **************** of Bucky's who "determined the mark-up." Please note I never lost my cool dealing with this angry man.I perceive this a deception, a lie, a rip-off on the part of Bucky's Shoreline and the Service Advisor. They quoted one product (*****) and installed a different one with much lower cost to make a big profit. I want to express my dissatisfaction with Bucky's service and my disapproval of his bad behaviors, I found him intimidating and insulting to customer.I am a senior citizen who knows nothing about auto mechanics nor auto repair business. Bucky's has betrayed my trust with their deceptive practice. I expect to hear from Bucky's ************** and remedy for this situation.**********Bucky's Response

???????????? Took to *****'s for a brake master cylinder replacement. Next Day Van Wouldn't Start, Turns Over Won't Start. They told me the reason why my van won't start is because it's leaking fluids. It's been leaking fluid since I bought it 4 years ago and did over ****** miles.I took my van **** to get the break master cylinder replaced. They got the job done, but when I got home the next day, it wouldn't start, then started running only on 3 cylinders. I found a vacuum line that they cracked, so I fixed it, and it's still not running, so I don't know what they did to my van.My van was running just fine before I took it to this shop, and the next day, it just stopped working. So if you want your vehicle to come out with more problems then it went in with, I would recommend this place. I truly didn't want to take my Van **** to begin with because of last time. But I went against my better judgment and took my van t****, and now it doesn't run at all. But ran perfectly fine for over ****** miles and across the country. I've done DoorDash. I've done a lot of things in my van. In fact, I actually live in it. So the fact that it doesn't run now, ****** me off.I would definitely not recommend this place to anybody. Because every time I come ****, t****'s a f_ing problem. And now, this time, it's probably gonna cost me hundreds of dollars just to figure out what the messed they did.Review from Hedy F.

I had to tow my car to *****'s in ******/****, ** and they told me that if I had my car fixed at their auto repair shop, they would take the first hour off the towing company's bill and apply it to the repair cost.My towing bill on the receipt was $154.28. When I came to pick up my car, they said that the towing company's bill was for 1.5 hours and they said they'll take off $87.00 from the bill. When I came home I looked at the towing bill and it said that they took 1 hour and not 1.5 hours like *****'s claimed. So actually, *****'s lied to me and should have paid the full $154.28 which was for one hour.Review from Daniel W

I had taken vehicles to Bucky's before and had OK service. When I took my 2006 van in for the emission light it was new management. I was quoted prices to repair the problem. The invoice stated that there was a 90 day Labor Warranty and 12 month 12,000Mile Part Warranty. About 3 weeks later the emissions light came on. I took it back to Bucky's on 6th Ave and was told the warranty was not valid for this. I took the van to another repair shop and they discovered that the coils Bucky's replaced were not OEM but appear to be an economy after market brand. After several tests they discovered a head gasket leak. They told me that it was probably not worth fixing due to the age of the van and that it would probably last a couple of years I took the parts back to Bucky's to be tested. Over a month went by and no call from Bucky's. I called them and was told that 2 parts were bad but they would not reimburse me for all of them. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !Review from Rashaud H

My catalyst converter was stolen, so I took it to Buckys in ****** off *******. They put the new catalyst converter on that day. They finished my truck and I noticed it was still making popping noises, v which usually means there's a leak somewhere. Tacoma Buckys on ******* sent me to the ******** Bucky's on Meridian yo help resolve the issue. Check Engine light and same codes have been coming up and my check engine light. Remind you as a customer I had never in my life been to ********************** until my catalyst converter was stolen. I've gotten multiple oil changes and had them do some other work. All while the Check engine light and codes kept coming up and nothing was ever done. This had been a ongoing issue for 2 years now and I feel I was robbed as a customer. They believe and trust in there workers than they do there client's/customers. I'll never take a vehicle here not any other Bucky's Automotive nor refer anyone to there corporation.Review from Kevin T.

Bucky's is a scam, they did work on my truck and didn't even bolt my brake caliper down. it came off destroying my wheel and other brake components. They act as if repairing the damaged caused by their negligence was a favor to me. They had to buy me new wheel because they could get the a replacement for the one that they damaged. I told the district manager who said that he "is an advocate for" me, that I wanted my money back. He told me that he told the owner said " F*** no, tell him to sharpen his pencil" I find this unacceptable. I could not go on two trips that I had planned due to the negligence of Bucky's They had my truck for almost one month minus the almost 24 hours I had it when it broke. The brake caliper could have come off doing highway speeds and I could have been seriously injured or possibly killed. Thank God it didn't. I will never do business with this company again and I will never recommend this business to anyone not even my worst enemy. The poor customer service and lack of compassion for the damage and risk they put me in. is truly repulsive. I wish I would have done a bit more research.Review from Kristy M

We took our truck in for repairs for a sensor at Bucky's. We called and they said they were waiting on a sensor to arrive. We called again and they said that they would contact us when it was ready. A week goes by, and I ended up calling them. They told me that the truck had been done for a week. No one called us and our truck sat there that whole time! We had to spend money for traveling back and forth to work with an Uber. Then come to find out, all they did was repair wires. They were never waiting on a replacement sensor. The guy who initially served us was a total jerk and unprofessional when we asked about pricing and when it would be done. If you don't like your job, you really shouldn't be working there!Review from Dan S

I brought my car in yesterday to get a new catalytic converter serpentine belt brake booster and back brakes and I brought my own back brakes. I got my car back cost me $2,920 and they only did $1,600 of repairs. They overcharged me on the brakes they charged me for work they didn't even do. I have never had worse service these are horrible people. These guys are liars and thieves. I would never bring my vehicle there again. He said he would make it right but there's no way somebody could s**** up that bad. These guys do horrible business I think they're tweakers. Don't ever take your car thereReview from Eric and Sarah W
