On 4/17/2024 I purchased a Codel front door for my home. The purchase price was ******* paid in full, I also paid for it in cash. The person who sold me the door was ***********************, the owner of Fircrest doors. He called the doors manufacturer (Codel) and was given a lead time of 4 to 6 weeks. ***** gave me my receipts and told me he would be in contact once ***** sent him an email in regards to when the door would be ready. We exchanged phone numbers and I left. Two weeks later I texted him to get an estimated delivery date, I received a text back saying he would contact the company, then nothing. I texted him multiple times, and just kept getting the run around. Finally I called Codel themselves, I was told that Fircrest door hadnt ordered any doors that resembled mine. Also they informed me that only 2 doors total had been ordered by this compnay. Interestingly enough a seperate person asked to talk to me and suggested I get my money back. He said doors are 3 weeks out, mine might take 4 to make, but he didnt have a good feeling about Firscrest Doors. On 5/29/24 Iattempted to stop by and actually ran into *****. We went up to his office and looked as though he lived there. He sat on his computer clicking on boxes and after a few minutes said he could find the oreder. After a semi heated exchange I told him I would give him a few more days, then I would be requesting a refund. After many more excuses and texts ***** informed me he would issue a refund (6/10/24). I have texted him 12 times all during business hours and during the business week. he responded twice both with reasons why he couldnt quite pay me. I am fed up and want my money back.

On Oct 11th (Oct 16th credit card chg date) I ordered 9 Fir Shaker Doors & jams to be fit and stained. To be installed by my own contractor. 18 mos. ago I used the same company & representative to replace 9 doors on the main floor. It was quality work, so I was happy to order the same doors for the 2nd floor. Silly me I did not do the same due diligence as before. Chasing after my doors due in early Nov I learned from ******* that no orders have been coming in and contracting agencies who received checks have seen them bounce. I have tried to contact the owner ***********************, who does not answer phone or email. I have called city licensing agencies and found their UBI#********* but was aghast to learn this LLC might have dissolved in late May and that there is no bond on file. So taking my $ well after that is fraud. I am filling a police report but hope you can help me recoup my money and ensure others are not similarly bilked. Thank you

Follow up in regards to complaint #********: Fircrest Doors finally reimbursed my acct. I believe my calls, your contact, the State Attorney Interest, and my ********* investigation led him to believe that I was not letting go. So thank you for your role in this. ******

We order several doors. The doors were never delivered. We called, told the owner was the only one who knew what status was and he wasn't there. We called repeatedly and were always told them same thing. We wrote a certified letter asking for our money back. Nothing. This company will rob you.

In October 2021 we ordered custom doors for our home renovation from Fircrest Doors, paying $11,000 as a 50% deposit. In May 2022 we began our home renovation and in July 2022 placed a second order for additional doors, paying a 50% deposit of $5,580.34 on 7/19. Our contractor, Golden Construction, placed a third order in June 2022 for exterior doors, paying $5,000 in deposit. Total paid to date has been $21,580.34. In September 2022 Fircrest Doors delivered these orders and not a single door fit. All were taken back by Fircrest Doors to be corrected. Neither our own attempts nor our contractors attempts to get ***** at Fircrest Doors to deliver the corrected order are working. He refuses to return phone calls or provide any information on our order. We have even physically gone to the shop to ask and been given no information. We have no recourse at this point but to file a complaint and seek legal counsel.
