Had my vehicle for 3 days accruing daily fees, not once called me to let me know vehicle was there , the driver(s) messed my vehicle up badly, tore front bumper piece off, damaged radiator, broke tail light, bumper to bumper with someone else's mustang. had someone else's garbage in the bed of the truck. o2 sensor was dangling from Underneath my truck as well..lastly a dead battery that they kindly jumped for me, Although a slap in the face with a $568 bill, I paid with no attitude and forked out the money, the owner came out and admitted the freshly torn plastic on the front bumper and said the money i paid would be reimbursed-claimed he liked to be thorough and fair After waiting in the office the owner comes back in says he won't pay for damages or reimbursement of any kind because he asked the operator about damages and he said he didn't remember. Fuming, I got in my truck and left

Mr. *********** vehicle was initially impounded to ****** ***************** for suspected criminal investigation-purposes. Then was impounded from their facility to Bills Towing. Upon speaking to the drivers that towed his truck, the majority of damages were existing when we arrived on the original scene to tow his truck.

Both times we towed his truck, it was towed on a flatbed with tie down straps. As you can see in the pictures that ************************* provided, the front license plate is untouched. If we had done the damage he is claiming, the first damage would have been to the license plate as it would have been folded under.
We will not be reimbursing or replacing for ************************* due to the facts. Which is, we did not do these damages, again based on the inspection we did and the pictures that he provided.

My stolen truck was impounded by police 4/4/23 My insurance was still in process of investigating while waiting for results on drug level testing (do to ********************** goods left by person that stole the truck) and they just got the results back that exceeded the healthy legal limits & were intending to move the vehicle to most likely be destroyed which the impound lot was aware! They were informed insurance company needed to get results before moving the vehicle. However without being notified by mail or phone, I learned upon calling them 4/28/23 since the insurance company asked if I had been notified of the tow yard auctioning it off? I stated not to my knowledge since I hadnt received anything. I learned after speaking to them that they had already sold my truck at auction. Upon hearing that, I looked into it further & seen that they listed on 4/21/23 1:30am in the Tacoma daily index listing the auction date & was sold 4/26/2023 without any legal notice or my or insurance companies knowledge of intent. It was not abandoned, I had been there after being notified by police, to view condition. I didnt remove anything as some of the items were not *********** of a criminal case. The drug testing was required because my significant other is pregnant & our baby arriving early May, the truck was our primary mode of travel . Im concerned due to the testing results being deemed above the legal limits & likely going to be destroyed, that they sold ******** some innocent victim is subject to exposure of those of unhealthy limits. I did not/was not able to retrieve any belongings as I didnt want to tamper with evidence connected to arrest of criminal that stole my truck. This has caused undue pain/suffering given these circumstances & lack of proper notification. Due to the negligence of their handling of this, I believe they are liable for losses/damages. Any financial gain from the sale should be returned to the owner (myself) of vehicle! Double Victimized!

**************** vehicle was impounded by the ****** ***************** on April 4th, 2023. The 24 hour notice was sent to Mr. ***** at ***************************************************************** (which is the address the vehicle was register at through ***) on April 4th, 2023 notifying him that the vehicle had been impounded. **************** came into our office also April 4th, 2023 to look at his vehicle.

On April 10th, 2023 we requested owner information through the *** a 2nd time so that we could begin the auction process. At that time *** sent ** owner information back. We sent a Custody and Sale of Abandoned Vehicle notice by certified mailing to ******************************************************************* notifying **************** of the sale of his vehicle.

**************** did give ** verbal permission to release the vehicle to his insurance. Yes, his insurance did come in and look at his vehicle. And insurance was told verbally multiple times that the vehicle was set to be auctioned on April 26th, 2023 if they did not pick it up before then.

The vehicle was not redeemed and therefore sold at auction.

Per RCW 46.55.130 money collected for the sale of lien on said vehicle goes towards the bill owing to ** which came to total of $1951.75. Any money that we received over that amount must be turned into *** within 30 days from date of sale. The registered owner then can apply to retrieve that money from ***.

We have copies of all documentation spoken about in this reply.
