My husband ******************* dropped off my sheepskin rug for cleaning on May 9, 2023 (a gift my father gave me years ago that means a lot to me). They inspected it, said they would need to hand clean it instead of using the machine to prevent damage. They had cleaned it once before, 8 years ago and it did come back with some pieces missing but was mostly intact so I didn't dispute. I went in May 15th to pick it up and they said it was not ready. We called the following Wednesday and Friday and they said it still wasn't ready. We finally got a voicemail from ***** on May 25th saying it "fell apart and they would try to put it back together". My husband called to get more information and they gave him the runaround, telling him he had to talk to the guy who handled it, who then told him to talk to the owner *****, who was not there. This went on for 3-4 more days before we were finally able to connect with *****. We still have no idea if it was hand cleaned or how it was destroyed. He just said it was "in a million pieces" and shut down many of our questions and concerns. We asked if they would replace it for the cost of a new one, which was hardly the point; it is not actually replaceable. I researched similar rugs of the same size online and found one for $195. We told ***** the approx cost was ~$200 (with shipping). He gave us $60 would not negotiate more and said "that is all I can give you, it came in damaged", which was a lie. He gave us the remnants of my rug. I've attached photos. Not only did he and his partner/employee treat us with complete lack of care and concern, they were argumentative, insinuated that we lied about the condition of the rug, and wouldn't even give us the fair cost to replace it. $60 might buy a cheap knock off from Amazon. This is not a way to run a business and others should be warned. This is the sheepskin rug similar to mine in quality/size/color (30"x50" ivory):**********************************************************
