  In September of 2021 our daughter was going to move into the Willow Place Apartments. They told her they would match her up with a roommate and that they would make sure that arrangement was acceptable before she moved in. After she had signed the lease, they changed the apartment and the roommate assignment, which was not acceptable to her. She therefore withdrew her application as they would not correct it. They then tried to bill for the amount of the lease. We filed a complaint with the BBB at that time and had no further contact with the company. Now, over 2 years later, they have sent this to collections, when it was their fault they modified their agreement. We request that the amount being sought be waived, to the amount of $6,929, as this is not a valid charge. She never moved into the apartment at all.

  This email shows that Willow Place approved our application only on the completion of the attached conditions, which we chose not to complete. This is viewed as an addendum to the contract and without fulfilling these conditions the contract is not in force. We again request they waive their attempted collection of rent for a room we never occupied when no money changed hands at all and all condition of the contract were not met, and they changed the conditions on their end after the contract was signed. Thank you.
