I would like the charges that are agents me on behalf of pfefferle property management disputed. My reason being is because I have 2 videos and many many pictures worth of proof that I was falsely accused of my move out damages. They posted FAKE PICTURES ONLINE OF SOMEONE ELSES APARTMENT and claiming it was mine. They are trying to charge me 5000$ on top of the 1100$ deposit they already took from me.
I would like to be contacted by a member of the bbb for further info

As the property manager for **********************, Pfefferle Management is responding to a complaint made by ******* *****, a former tenant at the apartment complex, regarding move-out charges.

We would begin by noting that Ms. ****** claim that she was provided with pictures of another tenants apartment both unfair and completely unfounded. Furthermore, all items charged to ******* ***** were direct result of the condition in which the apartment was left by Ms. ****** Our move-out process is thorough and well-documented, and in this case, we encountered damage and cleanliness issues that far exceeded normal wear and tear.

Specifically, additional cleaning was required for the units refrigerator,stove/oven (including replacement of drip pans), kitchen cabinets, kitchen floor, bathtub, toilet, sink and windows. The extensive damage from the tenants pet cat caused the need for flooring replacement (due to cat urine damage) and a complete decontamination of apartment, including the units walls, floors, and trim.  Other necessary repairs and replacements included a full repainting of the entire unit and replacement of closet doors in living room and bedroom.  These issues go well beyond our standard cleaning process and required specialized services and repairs. The charges reflect the actual costs incurred to restore the unit to a rentable condition for future tenants.

We understand that the move-out charges may have been planned for by Ms.******  However, the tenants lease agreement clearly outlines tenant responsibilities, including those related to pet ownership and damages beyond normal wear and tear (see Section 2.13 Maintenance and Section 6.3, Pet Damages). Additionally, Pfefferle Management maintains detailed documentation, including photos, check-in sheets, and written reports, for all move-out assessments.

We strive to maintain a safe, clean environment and quality services  for all our tenants, which entails thorough cleaning and repairs after one tenant moves out and another moves into a unit.  Our hope is that this response will clarify the situation and demonstrate Pfefferle Managements commitment to fairness and transparency to all current and former tenants of ***********************
