Contracted with Badger Seamless to repair tornado damage to the siding on my house. Agreement required downpayment of $1496.43 which was sent on April 5, 2023. Despite many attempts to contact the company regarding completion of the project including phone calls, text messages, emails, and an in-person visit to their office, the job remains unfinished with nothing scheduled. Staff have all quit, and the individual in charge of my job has told me that he is quitting today because he hasn't been paid and is owed over $2000 and hasn't seen the boss, owner *************************, in a month and a half and he isn't responding to phone calls or messages. He also told me that nobody is being hired as replacement, suppliers have not been paid, and he was not aware of any jobs being done currently. So, hearing this, I do not have any faith that my job will be completed.A full refund is required to close this issue.

He has been refunded his down payment. And he is having someone else do the work.

    Thank you

In June of 2019, Badger Contracting replaced our 3 existing skylights at a cost of $3,002.25. Badger gave us a written 5-year workmanship warranty and a 10-year manufactures warranty. Within 6 months the first skylight started leaking. My husband and I called and emailed numerous times, both the company and the representative we worked with. We left messages at their office and messages through their website. When my husband finally got a hold of someone who answered at Badger, they said it "was a different company now" and they could not help us. My husband said asked why would the phone number, address and company name be the same then? Crazy. No one would ever answer our calls again. As of last fall, (2 years after install), all 3 of our skylights are leaking profusely. Today, we had a long-time professional roofer come look at the skylights and he said they were all installed incorrectly. He said even if we contacted Vellux, the supposed manufacturer, they would not honor the warranty because of how poorly they were installed. (There are no serial/manufacturer information on these 2019 skylights like there usually is, per the roofer who looked at them today so we can't be sure of the manufacturer) Badger also did not use the professional flashing kit made for installing these skylights, opting instead to fabricate their own flashing system with a series of various mismatched odd materials and then chalked all over, per the roofer looking at them today. Many screws are missing from each skylight and there were numerous other problems. The photos I am including here show some of the leaking and damaged drywall issues. You can see inexpensive, unfinished wood trim Badger put up along the interior of the skylights. The roofer wondered why that was done as the manufacture has the proper trim provided specifically for that purpose. Now we are looking at an expensive replacement of 3 skylights, drywall repair and repainting at a time when costs are extreme.
