I went to see Brian * at the ******** location and he went thru pricing and my medication list and when I informed him what we pay for me to be on my spouse's group policy, he said just decline ******** as it is better for you but confirm with your spouse's employer that you can stay on his insurance if you are eligible for ********. After declining ********, my claims started getting denied by my spouse's insurance due to my spouse's employer being a small employer, my claims will be paid by ******** part B first then his insurance will cover even if I don't have ********. It comes down to employer size of how claims are paid (government rules). The problem here is that Brian failed to indicate this to me or to even ask the size of the employer now sticking me with extra bills accumulating to approx $500. When contacting Brian's boss, she just pointed fingers saying my spouse's employer should know how denying ******** would affect me. Well they are not the experts, the sales people at Informed Choice are the "experts" but that is not the case. Beware if you go to this company that they are telling you EVERYTHING!!

Dear ************** I do apologize for the bad experience you felt you had at Informed Choice. As you pointed out with your case, it is very important for people to talk to their employers plan administrator before making decisions about ******** enrollment.

We had an appointment with Matthew ********. When we arrived, we were offered water, coffee, something to drink right away. Very friendly receptionist, and a comfortable and nice atmosphere. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable in all areas that we asked questions about. He did searches to find us the best rates and plans that suited us for our needs. He explained everything thoroughly and in a way that we understood. He was very thorough and we were super happy with him. We feel very confident and comfortable with our decisions. Would recommend Matt in a heartbeat

Avoid this business, choose another agent for your insurance needs. The agent who worked with my parents on their Medicare needs was negligent and made changes to their plan that incurred costly, monthly late enrollment penalties. Yet, told them there would be no fees. This could have easily been avoided if the agent took the time to ask questions and enroll them is the correct plan. When asked to take responsibility for their mistake, they didn’t. More like Uninformed Choice

Due to HIPAA protections, we cannot comment in detail on this case. When an agent is evaluating plan choices with consumers, the agent makes recommendations based on information given by the consumers. Sometimes the consumers do not provide complete information, which is exactly what happened in this case. We do not have access to ********** database and are not able to see if clients have accrued ******** penalties due to late enrollment in Part B or *********** clients do accrue penalties, we are not allowed to pay those on behalf of clients. In *********, Part D penalties can be avoided if consumers simply enroll in SeniorCare, which is a great benefit. We always do our best at Informed Choice to ask questions to get the information we need to make good recommendations, but sometimes clients do not share the information we need. We have a track record of providing exceptional service in ********* since ****.
